  • There is this one that B3achy posted... Some people have posted their previous months progress, but I'm sure you can just stick to August. If you decide to start up a different one though, please let us know!

  • I've been on MFP for almost four years now, but it's only been recently that I finally "get it". As others have said above, it's not a diet. It's a way of life, and it has to be one that you can live with going forward. You asked what sort of foods people take to work to curb the "boredom cravings" - that was a big flag…
  • TM "Smooth Move" or Yogi "Get Regular" herbal teas. They might help!
  • Agree with everyone else - see the doctor! In the meantime, there are a couple herbal teas that can help "move things along". Traditional Medicinals Smooth Move is a good one, and I am currently enjoying Yogi Soothing Mint Get Regular tea. Good luck!

  • I am. Just about to hit my one year mark since diagnosis. Always been "fluffy", but after being told the cancer was caused by 'environmental factors', I decided to get serious about a healthier lifestyle. Congratulations on completing your treatments, and I wish you the very best in your endeavors!!

  • ^^^This. I've been yo-yoing my whole life too, but due to a health issue last year, I've had to change my relationship with food. I've learned to understand when I'm hungry vs. when I'm bored. I've learned I don't need to eat as much, and truthfully, I feel a lot better when I don't overeat. I strive to eat a…

  • Just remember, it's a marathon - not a sprint. Make changes you can live with for the long term, so that it becomes a lifestyle, and not just a "diet". Wishing you all the best!!!

  • I've found the same, OP. There are enough negative, nasty, argumentative trolls in MFP to keep themselves busy, I don't have the time or willingness to engage them. It does make the positive and encouraging comments all the more refreshing. :) Keep your chin up, and best of luck with future discussions!
  • I love this post, OP!! Thank you for so eloquently saying what I've been feeling all along. <3
  • Plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries and a 1/4 cup of Kashi GoLean cereal is my usual breakfast go-to. Another favorite is peanut butter & berries on a sandwich thin (no jelly or jam, just fresh berries). Regarding the oatmeal crash, I used to feel that way when I'd eat the Quaker oatmeal packets/cups. Not sure if it was…
