Mine only ever drinks water or breast milk/cow's milk (he's 22 months - they shouldn't have cows milk before they are one). Very, very occasionally I have let him have a taste of juice, squash and he has tried tea! They only really need milk and water.

There's a weekly 5k run at Killerton that I would like to start going to eventually. I am currently doing the C25K training so hope to be able to do 5K in about 10 weeks :)

I would love to lose three stone by Christmas and I make that to be 2.15lbs a week between now and then (19.5 weeks for 42lbs) Totally do-able if we work hard and support each other! Friend request coming at you!

YES! I only have 30 minutes a day (I work FT and I have a 22 month old son) and I have lost 9lbs in two weeks by eating sensibly and working hard in those 30 minutes. So long as you make the 30 minutes count (by working hard, making yourself sweat) they will definitely pay off. I am also trying to build more exercise into…

I am sure it wont happen to you too. My old ones were giving wildly different readings (more than a stone difference between readings seconds apart) unfortunately I didn't notice until my first weigh in (I took them at their word when I weighed myself at the beginning).

Thank you, you are right, I am no different to yesterday, the numbers in my head and the number I have to lose are bigger. On the plus side my calorie goal has done up by 200!

Hi, I am fairly new too (had the app for three months but doing this seriously for a week now) and also from the UK. I am so far finding it a really helpful tool. It is also great for getting support and advice.

He's not ugly (but he could do with losing the facial hair!). I really hate the way that society judges people by their looks and puts greater importance on looks than any other quality. Yes, it is nice to look good but I think it is far more important to be a decent person. Looks fade, a good character grows stronger.
