I want to get a kinect for our Xbox and get Dance Central 2. I played that, and the adventures at a friends house, and I love how active they made me.

I used to have wine each night after work and with dinner. Now I have cut my drinking back to only on Fridays and/or Saturdays and noticed a big difference. This way I still get to have drinks with my friends or something if we go out, but I still get to watch my calories and lose weight. :) Finding the balance is the key.

I had an EPIC divorce party that everyone (except me) remembers. *laugh* Fortunately there was video. I even burned a copy of my marriage license/record on the bar!!

I use splenda and sugar-free creamer in mine. I've found the sugar free creamer is sweet enough sometimes that I may not even have to use a splenda, but I don't see the harm in either.

I know if I workout anytime after 8:00 PM I am up till all hours of the night. My energy levels increase significantly after a workout. This would be awesome if I could manage to get my butt out of bed in the morning to workout, but I am not a morning person and that just ain't happening.

Look at you go!! Good job!

I give myself weekends off - I have alcoholic beverages and less than stellar choices, but I am pretty faithful during the week. I'd probably lose faster but I am at a comfortable balance and not doing too bad. I just try and increase my activity level on weekends to make up for it.

Also make sure you don't have an ulcer. A lot of times ulcers start off feeling like sharp hunger pains. i used to think i was starving till I found out the real reason. :)

I see a few different Eat Smarts on there, was there a particular model you got? My scale gives me a different weight each time I step on it so I usually weigh myself 5 times and take an average, *laugh*

I loved Torrid, its just their prices were crazy! Fortunately I've found Old Navy offers a lot of things in bigger sizes so jeans are slightly more affordable... I hear your frustration though. its like if you want cute bigger clothes you ahve to pay an arm and a leg, otherwise you get stuck with dumpy clothes. :(

There are also a lot of places that offer just individual Zumba classes - generally for around $5 - $7 per class depending on the area you live in. A quick google search should turn up some.

I took my first Zumba classes at the local University here because a friend was a student and got me in, and there were a few guys scattered throughout the class. They certainly got attention from the ladies. ;)
-
I have DVDs, Wii, and have been to classes. My favourite by far is the classes - I push myself harder it seems and laugh a lot more. But I love Zumba period and will even break out to moves at home if i hear one of the songs on the radio. *laugh*

I haven't followed the actually diet in years, but when I did it was good for a quick loss as long as you don't mind gaining it back, lol. What I do for myself all the time though is I make up a huge crock pot of a cabbage soup (my own recipe, I throw in different veggies, just no potato because I don't want the carbs) and…

I <3 wine so much, I used to allow calories every night, but I have scaled back and only let myself drink on weekends (unless there are special circumstances) so wine is my go to Sunday afternoon.

Anything on the Dash Berlin New Daylight album. I like that because each song has a little bit slower parts and a lot faster parts, so I do intervals and sprints with cool downs. It makes it more fun to time my steps to the beat.

http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/fsz Keep in mind all frames are not created equal - a medium frame on one person might look completely different on another. For example, i have a larger rib cage than standard, but am still in the "medium" frame range by wrist size. :)

I am the opposite - I get two or more a month (complete with all the fun that goes along with them).

Thanks for the replies everyone! I will look into these.

I am in love with the Chobani 0% fat. Sometimes I add half a Splenda packet to it, but most of the time I just love it plain (but then again I'm a natural sour puss, lol)
-
holy crap! Gotta try those!
-
I never get the food there - too pricey - but I do love me a large iced coffee with turbo shot, skim milk, and two splenda
-
I like either. It depends on the time of day for me. Either way, I drink my coffee with Splenda and Skim Milk or unsweetened almond milk. If i use a creamer, its usually sugar free creamer. Saves calories and is still yummy!!
-
Sounds yummy (sans pepperoni). Will have to try this for dinner some night!

A lot of it truly does depend on the person's individual metabolism. Not all sizes fit everyone. 1200 is a good rule for the majority of people, but for some that is too much. Personally, I don't lose on 1200 (even when it is the *right* 1200). I have to eat under 1,000 net to see any progress. In actuality, many "doctor…

I ,3 Paulina Rubio's Oro. Its got a sorta musky smell. I don't dig a lot of flowery-ness and this is a woman's fragrance that is almost... kinda masculine in a way. I love it. :)

For those commenting that a 3-4 lb gain seems like a lot of beer, its not just the beer, its the water that you retain after drinking alcohol. That's why it seems like loosing 5 lbs a week, and gaining back 3-4 lbs. In actuality, you';re probably just dropping and re-holding the same 3 lbs of water each week. Ignore those…
-
Stay with lighter calorie beers, drink a glass of water (if you can) between each beer, up your workouts on the days you will be drinking, and be sure to HYDRATE HYDRATE HYDRATE after. Alcohol causes a water gain for about two days after you go drinking, so you have to account for that.

those bottom two sound awesome! I am going to try the spinach one tomorrow!

That guy came here and performed at the local zoo. my BF did the sound for him and apparently he was actually a real musician before, but found eh could make more $$$ selling out to kids tunes. *laugh*
