  • I don't have any scientific evidence- but... annecdotally- It works best to do something you like that you can maintain for a life time. that may or may not be a 2x in one day habit. Too much too soon can lead to injury. If you eat back your exercise calories that could lead to eating much more on one day than another-…

  • I don't know about weight- but I know that I am less bloated and feel better in my clothes without it. And I can imagine it only helps with my overall health and fitness (not drinking it, that is.) I once drank about 1 McDonald's large each day- I know how one can feel about soda. * If you are sodium sensitive- it may also…
  • hmmm..never done crunches exactly. Sorry.
  • True- but I think he does have a sense of style. Maybe he's just dating in his league. ha ha.
  • You are really looking for change over time here, not necessarily the exact weight- just pick one of the scales and roll with in. In the grand scheme of things 3lbs won't may a big difference in your overall goal.

  • Ahh- Full of spice beat me. There is also laughing cow cheese...salsa for some...baba ghanoju (mutabal) -it's mushed up eggplant....umm...
  • I agree as well (esp with Vin Disel) but I like Casey Affleck- the younger Affleck brother. I can give both a pass for talent tho- Gone Baby Gone was excellent, and I loved The Town- maybe it's a Boston thing.
  • something distinctly masculine and well...Fake about this one.
  • Omigosh- I thought I was the only one! I can't stand Patinson or Cameron Diaz. Blech! I also think that though she is in fab. shape I just don't get the fuss over Jessica Biel. (JT finally figured out he can do better!) I guess I have weird tastes though- always a fan of the young Ethan Hawke, Ed Norton,....total crush on…
  • You can also adjust your weight loss goals. You didn't put it on over night, so why try to take it off overnight? I started out with a 1 lb a week goal. That will give you more calories as well.

  • some combo of the following: soup. salad I eat a can of tuna plain often. yogurt or cottage cheese and fresh fruit just vegetables a cut of lean meat and veggies left over dinner such as spaghetti or casserole If you have a loose interpretation of bread, anything on a tortilla or rice crackers what you usually eat wrapped…
  • plan ahead. That's the best trick. Go ahead and plan for your meals in one day until you learn what most things you eat consist of and then you can make more last minute decisions.
  • Welcome. I'm a pescatarian and I started out with about 45-50 to lose. I don't really do a meal plan per say, but I eat alot of the same things over and over again. Plain oatmeal with vanilla extract, cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp of brown sugar for breakfast. Tuna, and./or a salad an/, PB sandwhich and apples, carrots, plain…
  • well- I'm sorry you are having a craptastic day. But i did want to tell you that gain isn't all fat- because 3500 calories=1 lb of fat. You had 1,200 calories over your weight loss so at most that could be less than .5 lb of gain. It's probably more likely sodium and actual food weight. It will go back down. Life is for…
  • ran my first 1/2 marathon.
  • I have the fast food app that displays nutritional information for there. I got the tilapia and veggies and came in under like 800 I think.
  • Happy birthday! You look fab in all your pics, and so much healthier and happier in the last few.
  • This I did not know. How does that work? (I never fly).

  • Urban dictionary to the rescue. Back on that same page.
  • No no harm, my point was usually I can hang in there with these sort of puns/double entendre... I think the addition of Neal helped though.
  • I would wonder about the pills- about the water weight and about TOM. I usually pickup 4-5 pounds I cant shake around that time. Make sure you are drinking enough water and eating enough if you have kicked your exercise up a notch. Hang in there.

  • The strangest thing I've eaten are these tiny (whole) dried fish that my professor's brother brought back from Asia, and in the same day a flower right off a tree in his back yard- maybe a holly hock?? My dad, however, used to eat pig brains in his scrambled eggs. And pickled balogna. Eck.
  • wow- for the first time ever I think I have gotten lost and don't understand the meaning of this joke/thread.
  • I plan for it, but yeah, I eat something if it really really want it. I've not cut anything completely out (other than meat, but tha's for different reasons.)
  • Right, but you keep up the exercise because in the long run it will even out, and plus, being fit is more important in the long term. (Great work by the way!)

  • In all honesty, even though I feel like garbage at the start, a good workout helps me feel better after. That and tea. Lots of hot teas- herbal, chai, you name it.
  • Me too. I like them just barely ripe. I ate a fully green one once- I don't reccomend it.
  • I totally disagree with this logic, BUT I've heard this too because if you still have fat and happen to add bulk under it, your belly will appear larger.
