Thanks! I'm half way through now. Feeling pretty good. Round 3 was 75° and it was difficult the last mile. Round 4 starts at 5 and is expected to be 79°. I plan to take some walk breaks. Trying to get enough calories is hard. I'm not feeling hungry but making myself eat some lucky charms.

I hate my state. Governor just lifted all restrictions and cities can't enforce mask mandates. Private businesses can but there's gonna be a mix & they don't all enforce anyway.
-
@avidkeo we have a couple of sites that have been doing overnight times. And with summer coming they are transitioning to all night time because who wants to be outside when it's 100°+. (These are drive thru sites and volunteers are there for like 8 hours)
-
So I'm either really smart or really dumb. I signed up for a 2:30 am vaccine slot on Sunday since my last round of Yeti Challenge is at 1 am. Run an hour, hop in the car, get a shot and then sleep.
-
@Avidkeo OMG, that sounds horrible! I'd probably freak out if that happened I hope you can get an appointment quickly
-
I need to stop stalking Saturday's weather. So far it has went from a high of 75 to 81 to 76. I'd really like the high to remain in the 70s. I'm not heat trained yet! STOP SUMMER! LOL
-
I always try to run or walk within a day or two after. Otherwise I will take way longer than needed.
-
My goal for this week is 44 miles. I'd like to make it an even 45 because thats a better number. 30 of the miles will be Saturday. Trying to be excited and not nervous about this Yeti Challenge
-
@quilteryoyo I'm doing the yeti challenge, 5 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours
-
5 miles at 6am and 5 miles at 10 am for 10 total One week until Yeti 50-some miles for the month
-
No MRI, just an xray. I turned 40 in August Logged all my food yesterday. Did a 5k last night, 5 miles this morning and I'll go back out at 10 for another 5 miles
-
I keep falling off the wagon. Way behind on miles as I took like a week off & have been getting back slowly. I am now in PT for my shoulder. Still planning to kick *kitten* these last 2 weeks of March and complete Yeti on the 27th.
-
@shanaber Oh Hobbes, he does seem quite proud of himself! I love him! Y'all. I am on the struggle bus. It's been a week. Or two. UGH. Last week my shoulder got worse. I lost a ton of range of motion and my wrist started to hurt, which it hasn't since I gave up gluten so I called mayo to speak with the triage nurse. They…

I remembered to eat something before speed work today so it went much better than last week LOL 4.75 today and 34.3 for the month so far

Sometimes I hate having celiac disease. We ordered food last night, get it, and even though the receipt says sub gf pita, they used a wrap. *Sigh* So they refunded us and I ate some of the nachos DH had ordered. I also ordered what was on the menu as a gf brownie ice cream sandwich with berries but came as a small,…

@shanaber it's good training for the Yeti challenge. I'll be out at 1 pm and 5 pm so it'll be warm. Also, glad to hear Hobbes is on the mend!
-
So I did 49 minutes this morning for 4 miles (was supposed to do about 45 minutes) then 6 hours later I went back out for an hour, which I thought I would do 5 miles. Nope. It was 82° out. I took several walk breaks. Ended with 4.55 So 8.55 total for today and 25.3 for the month
-
Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. Lost .4 from my last weigh in at end of January. Some measurements were up, most the same, and one down. I want to recalculate my calories and macros since I'm not lifting weights anymore, just running. Todays plan is 4 miles in the morning then 6 hours later 5 miles.
-
I plan to weigh in tomorrow. It will probably be bad. I've been going over calories but I'm so freaking hungry!
-
Another 4 today. Broke out the shorts. 82° is too warm for March 5th. Guess I gotta get used to it! 16.70 of 137. Reached 200 for the year with today's run as well (203.1 to be exact)

I read the earthquake may cause tsunamis near Hawaii. Hopefully, it won't be too bad. I remember watching the tsunami that hit Thailand in 2004 on the news. I can't imagine going through something like that.
-
4.05 this morning. It was an easy run and I went slower than goal pace but it felt right. 12.7 miles so far. Tomorrow I go after work and then get up and go Saturday then again 6 hours later then get up and go Sunday morning. YAY Yeti training!
-
@shanaber I'm glad Hobbes is eating again. Hopefully he will be back to normal soon.
-
@quilteryoyo Grief is so interesting and the weird way it manifests itself. When DH car was totaled and they didn't give the jumper cables back I freaked out because my dad gave me those. I mean, really? They aren't expensive. They were 10+ years old. I never thought about them until they were taken from me. The repair…

4.65 this morning. Speed work. did 600mx8. did not hit goal paces for most. I was tired. Realized halfway through that I forgot to eat something (except a cup of coffee) so that did not help. Oh well, I got out and did something!
-
Yes, my name is pretty self-explanatory LOL 4 miles this morning plus took the dog for a short walk this afternoon.
-
@swenson19d I think I'm Miss because never married. 🙄 Funny how men get one (mr) and women have 3 to show our status. So dumb. Logged everything yesterday including the afternoon chocolate I had instead of my picky bar. No run as it was a planned rest day. Missed my morning walk but made sure I went in the afternoon.

Turn out is always a challenge. If you rock back on your heels and turn put it helps you settle into your natural turn out and go a bit further. You can work on it but you may not be able to change it much. -signed a former dancer (20 years) and teacher (2-3 years) who to this day stands in sloppy b plus

I always thought of guys as gender neutral as well but I've been reading more about it. We think of so much as neutral but it's all male- based. I tried folks but yah, too old timey for me. Writing y'all is definitely easier than saying it lol
-
Adding: I want to check in with this group at least once a day. Y'all are my favorite here. (I know I'm not southern but I'm working to replace "guys" in my vocab. Y'all is the best alternative I've found so far)
