120 miles for December

@avidkeo I started making my own cakes after celiac diagnosis. DH doesn't bake & it's usually cheaper and easier to make my own than buy.

@mbaker566 I love Bob! I don't stop with Shadow. Most people love her but she gets protective of me. She lets men pet her and then she'll suddenly snap her head and low growl. She doesn't show teeth or bite. When we hike Justin let's everyone pet her & she's fine. She's fine when its just him. Apparently I need her…

I went from Vivoactive 3 to Fenix 5s. I love the Fenix but it took a bit to get used to buttons over touch screen. I love all the different options the Fenix has (trail run, hike) that Vivoactive didn't have. Plus additional data points. The battery from regular use does seem to last longer but gps usage drains it. More so…

Here is a couple of cell photos from today.

No run today. We took the dog on an adventure. We drove 2ish hours, went on a very bumpy road, then hiked about a mile to a little waterfall. We took our time on the hike back and stopped at all the spots along the creek to look and take photos. Doggo loves going in the water. She was happy and slept on the highway portion…

Logging is still hit or miss but I'm being somewhat aware of what I'm eating. Mostly what I usually eat.
-
We went to Sprouts to get gf pie crusts. I bought everything gf peppermint that was available LOL

62 miles as of today. 38 to go. It's going to be tough but I'll get it done. Finished every damn trail today! Just over a month and half to finish my chosen park. I don't know how many miles I did but I may add it up. Because of missed turns and bad days I had to redo some sections to reach some parts of the park. But…

The only time I've had tingling in my feet was because my laces were too tight and feet swelled while running. Still hit or miss on logging. Weight was down almost half a pound. So almost back to where I was before election week.
-
We are planning to air fry a turkey breast. Then I found some recipes for sides & a pie that'll I'll make. Probably way too much food for 2 of us but then I won't have to cook dinner for a few days!
-
I went out twice today. 5k before work and 2 at lunch. I'll take the dog after work because I never know what she will be up for 🤣 I need 5 miles a day for the rest of the month. Should be easy. I have 2 Saturday long runs and the weeknof Thanksgiving off.
-
So I'm going to fall about 12 miles short of goal if I stick to my plan. I can either: Add additional run days (Fridays probably) Add additional mileage to each day (1.34 per run) Some combo of the above I'll have to think on this. I can do more mileage next week (no work!) LOL

I've been slacking again with food. I keep logging breakfast and nothing else. Goal for today is to just log everything.
-
@shanaber This is the one I have https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X9MHMT2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_cDIigXQ33izEu I wish the lower handle was higher. Maybe Shadow is too short for it 🤣
-
Up a pound this morning. No one to blame but myself. Will keep trying to be better. I gotta get back to logging food.
-
@shanaber They may have been worried the car would catch fire? And maybe it was Pennywise 🤣

I ended up going a little farther than my leg (3.35) and waited until I got home to check runkeeper. It saw my garmin. Then I promptly deleted Garmin from runkeeper and runkeeper from my phone. LOL It doubled up my run on myfitnesspal because I guess I still had runkeeper connected!

👋🏼 I've been lurking. Not posting much. Last week was a *kitten* show for me. I've been eating better and working out this week but haven't been tracking food. I get breakfast logged and then forget the rest of the day. I missed last weekends weigh in. I think my body was fighting something. Felt off and temp was 99 (I'm…

I set up my garmin this morning to runkeeper but now thinking maybe I need to fuss with the app? I was planning to take doggo with me on the trail so I'd rather not have an extra thing to do lol (sorry team, trails & doggo means I'm slowing you all down 🤣)
-
Same. I've been around the same speed since I started. I can't break a 30 min 5k. I can't break 2:30 HALF marathon. I have learned to accept this is the best I can do and I will always be a middle of the pack runner. I've only seen improvement in my shorter trail times because my first season was learning how to run trails.

I didn't log food yesterday. I didn't exercise. And I ate candy. And ice cream and brownie brittle. Today I will log my food. I will try to workout. For the last 3 mornings the dog has been waking up around 3. And apparently thinks I should also be awake. So. Tired.

Fell behind a bit here... Congrats @ContraryMaryMary! That is a great PB but I get your disappointment. I think we all have A, B, and C goals for races and when we don't hit A we are annoyed. I am back on the I want to run an ultra train again. I printed an 18-week plan and (kind of) started this week. There's a 50k on…

She has been very active on Instagram. She's putting in some big miles.
-
@AlphaHowls You definitely deserve to take the afternoon off and not go for the next level of miles LOL
-
Went back out. Boom 100 miles.
-
Ugh, could not do 12 today. Did 10.3 and had to call it. I'm 1.1 miles short of 100. 😭 I may go out this afternoon and do a loop around my block to hit 100

Goal: 110 Stretch: 135

Only lost .1 this week. Not a big deal. Figure period made me feel extra hungry but tried to eat filling foods. I also took my measurements. Haven't done that since early September. Lost half an inch from my waist and 2.5 (!) from my hips. Hip area is definitely where I hold the most fat. I set up my planner to take…

I'm like 600 calories over my goal but my net is like 3k under goal 🤣 I'm tracking food and trying to be mostly healthy. But if I'm hungry, I eat. I did two days of lifting so far and ran daily. Feeling good despite my period this week. I was all braggy that garmin said it was my period and I didn't have it. And then got…
