@canadianlbs I have low back pain. I tried deep tissue massage but was interested in this.

Thxs all for the feedback. Don’t want to have surgery as the surgeon says only it would have to be spinal fusion with a disc replacement. I’m doing my PT 3 or 4 days a week and trying to stay positive. I saw a pain management specialist that prescribed a different anti inflammatory with a mild muscle relaxer. I declined to…

@psuLemon, @CarvedTones, @nvmomketo and all. Thxs for info. I did get mri. Shows DDD at lower back and sciatica drives me nuts. I’ve been to PT and maxed out insurance benefits on it. Is PT the same as physio? I am not overweight.

I have lower back pain due to lumbar spine issues. I taken ibuprofen 800 3xs a day but I still feel and see that one side is swollen still.

If you are a swimmer it helps and try some gentle yoga or stretching.

Can you share the link?

You are fortunate to have found a good physician. Still searching.

@sijomial thanks for sharing. My PT and chiropractor have done similar with me. I have to really limit exercises where I get vertical compression - pain and/or nerve impingement results. Deadlifts so limited they are of little value (100kg), squats never. On a bad day I even have to do shoulder press one handed to halve…

Walking in the pool does have its benefits and trying to get your weight under control does hav3 benefits.

Thanks @Cherimoose. I will do that. And you are right. I’ve been struggling with a pinched nerve in lumbar low back. Any recommendations accepted for getting rid of it without quitting my workout?
-
I feel it on the top and side, sometimes the bottom.
-
No not usually. On and off.
-
@amyf2000 what stretches do you do? I have similar issues.
-
Fitness blender is one of my fav and best fitness programs ever. I do the 10 minutes lower back regularly.
-
Welcome back. I know how you feel. I’m in recovery mode as well. Be gentle with it all and celebrate the small victories.

DDD is serious. Please listen to your doctor. Take it slow whatever you do and listen to your body. I’ve had some great PT help me w my lower back and build core strength. It’s a slow journey so be careful with any weight lifting. Swimming helps a lot and jus5 walking in the water.

@cwolfman13, yep I get a professional massage every month. I was just asking if people that did hydromassage like it or not.

@JustKeepTryin thanks for your sharing. I'm thinking of trying b/c I've tried everything and I want relief for the pain.

It's a pinched nerve at the base of the nerve root @suzannesimmons3. I'm currently doing PT for it. I think it is more spinal than muscle.@cwolfman13. I'm not sure I want more pain.
