I love tofu (even raw haha) so I don't know if this would help but I like to cook some onions/garlic in a bit of oil add the tofu, add fresh herbs (basil, oregano, sage), lemon juice and then veggies. In the last minute of cooking it I add a few tomatoes to add a bit of sweetness. Another I remember was getting dessert…

Haha I understand your dilemma. I want another tattoo so badly!! But I totally agree. Some people can do fine without gyms but I'm not great at knowing what to do or how to do it when it comes to working out. I did a bootcamp once and had amazing results (much better than doing anything on my own) so I would definitely…

Haha we always joked that we should get Dr. Oz to send us press releases so we can research this stuff before hand. Like Raspberry Ketone? African Mango? What in the what.

I don't count sugar from fruit because you get other benefits from it. Plus I found it useful to eat to stop eating candy (I was once a sour candy addict). I stopped eating it cold turkey and ate berries when I craved it. Now I'm at the point where I rarely crave sugar so I occasionally will have some. I find my tastes…

oh my god, do you get a lot of people in asking about Dr. Oz? He is the bane of my existence. At the place I worked (it was run by a doctor so we didn't carry a lot of the stupid stuff like weight loss stuff, mainly just stuff for her patients and actual food) but every time he'd do a show we'd get dozen of people in…

Daiya is soy free?? Awesome! I'm not allergic but I eat tofu and edamame so I try to limit my soy otherwise. That's so great to know.

If you like shellfish you could try the packages of crab or lobster flavoured pollock.

I think Ezekiel is a pretty popular brand. Silver Hills is also excellent if you can find it. Both are usually in a fridge/freezer (they will stay good longer since they don't have preservatives in them).

Thanks,I was already familiar with some of the information in this article but it's a very interesting read. There's so many issues that feed into the food industry. Great to think about and reflect on.

I found a really nice soy free product by So Delicious called Cultured Coconut Milk. I use it to make "ice cream" with frozen bananas or eat instead of yogurt.

Some people react differently to carbs so I'd say if you can fit it into your macros and you don't feel ill/tired/ whatever after eating it, it wouldn't be a big deal to keep eating it. I don't react well to bread so I avoid it at all costs but that just me. If you were concerned about how much you were eating, you could…

Is it taste or texture or both you don't like? You could try putting pieces of seafood (crab/lobster) in a nice sauce and having it with pasta and veggies. Sometimes even trying it prepared different ways may help (grilling it instead of baking etc.) I agree with the suggestion to try different kinds of seafood. Going to a…

Tofu is another good option. Is this an authentic Chinese restaurant or a North American type Chinese food? I find authentic food tends to have more tofu and fish then fried stuff like chicken balls. Check for steamed options. When I was in Hong Kong you could order a big bamboo steamer filled with veggies and dumplings.…

I'm really glad to read the responses here. Somedays I eat right away...I'm just so hungry when I wake up. Other days it takes me a few hours to get up and get myself together before i want to eat. Nice to know that other people feel the same and that there's nothing wrong with it!

BASICALLY THE SAME STUFF EXACTLY/. I even use reusable bags for produce and bulk stuff, haha. I am a crazy record collector. I have boxes and boxes and boxes. Organizing them is my therapy. Love live music, hiking, canoeing. I went to a super hippie university and studied English Lit then college for Graphic Design and now…

lol I hope so!!

Why do they recommend not exercising? I'm not familiar with this program what so ever.

I've heard anything above 70% or 80% (not sure which) is good for you. I tend to like the darker stuff so I always get the highest percentage I can. I also really like those raw cacao nibs as well.

I don't eat frozen often (too expensive) but I like the Healthy Choice Steamers too. I find them very filling and a good alternative for fast food. Way more balanced than a big mac or something. I just wish there wasn't so much packaging.

Thanks for this list!!

I had to stop buying those pillsbury mini frozen pizzas because I'd eat a box of 8 in a day. I UNDERSTAND YOU.

I hear you! Parkour looks so cool and fun but I can't even climb over a fence, haha.

I have a lot of reasons but I think the deep down "real" reason is that I feel like I'm ready to settle down, meet a nice girl and be in a permanent serious relationship but I haven't really felt comfortable meeting anyone. I gained a lot of weight since I was younger and I don't really feel comfortable anymore. I feel…

Nice suggestions! I love chips but I know the normal ones are sooo bad for me. I'd love to try these versions :)

I'm in! I'm in the final stages of trying to cut out the pop for good.

Happened to me too!

Yes!

Frozen banana, coconut milk and cacao nibs (together) for ice cream.

Are you a cookie person? I went on a road trip with my dad (who has a sweet tooth) and I got some cookies by Go Go Quinoa that were delicious! They were individually packaged (which I hate) but it was nice for travelling (putting them in your bag/ leaving them in the car etc). However, low in sugar (even with chocolate…

I once saw a white bread that was labelled "whole grain". LOL. The way I see it- whole grain is better is highly refined/stripped of nutrients type stuff but not the ultimate sign of a healthy product. Personally I'd go with sprouted grain if I were to eat bread or bagels or something. I use to eat Silver Hills bread…
