Oh yeah, I totally get that. I think setting your goal to 1/2 lb a week would be your best bet along with trying to find ways to be more active in your free time and find something that you enjoy fitness-wise to work towards. Being more active means you can eat more, which is always good. Also, take the time to read some…

@kjoh12 What aspect are finding hard to stick to? How many calories are you aiming for? Many newbies will enter their stats in the beginning and immediately tell MFP that they want to lose 2 lbs a week. That is a 1,000 calorie deficit per day from your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE, which is the total number of…

Are you exercising, and if so, do you eat enough to fuel your workouts? Are you getting enough sleep? Do you eat an adequate amount of protein and fat and enough hydration? I only ask because a lot of factors can play into your energy levels, and varying your sugar intake one way or the other probably won't make much…

How many calories are you eating on average daily?

You're invited to my house, I'll gladly take some brownies off of your hands.

Drowning in ACV is definitely not how I want to go out. :D

Does it involve beer? Because if not, I'm sure it's trash.

I live in the south and peaches are a big deal here this time of year. Nothing better than a warm gooey peach cobbler made with fresh peaches from our farmers market. Even better if you have room in your calories for vanilla ice cream to go with it. I think I may just have to make one this weekend...

Another vote for leftovers here. It's great when I'm logging because I can log my lunch at the same time I log my dinner the night before.

Just smile and nod. Usually best just to mind your own business when it comes to coworkers and their eating habits and hope that they do the same. There's a lot of woo floating around my office, too, and while it can be infuriating, it's just not worth my time trying to talk sense to them.

Did you take it with food? The One-A-Day Women's brand has a fair amount of iron in it and can upset sensitive stomachs. Some people are fine taking it with food, and some are still sensitive to the iron. They make gummy vitamins that are a little easier on the stomach. Vitafusion makes a decent gummy brand for women that…

Curious, does your very helpful & supportive friend sell Beachbody products? My only concern with that is instead of having your well-being and success at heart, she is only looking to make a buck for herself. You say your husband fills your plate for you and is good at eyeballing. I think your secret to long-term success…

But, why?

Why not just save your money and eat a little less food and move a little bit more? Not a lot of support for MLM scams like Herbalife around here.

^This One weekend will not make that big of a difference in the long run. Can it throw you off course for the week? Yes. But one week now compared to the rest of your life is just not that big of a deal. Just get right back to logging the once the weekend is over. Get in an extra workout if you feel you need to, or bank a…

If it's anything like the other "health" related documentaries on Netflix, I'm sure it's garbage. Nature documentaries, ftw. Especially if they are narrated by David Attenborough.

There is not enough caffeine in any of those drinks to have enough of a diuretic effect to offset the water that the drinks contain.

I use it like sour cream. I like to put it in chili and on tacos. Sometimes I use it in casseroles or in chicken/tuna salad. It's good with ranch mix added to it and use as a dip for veggies. It's a good filler for homemade macaroni & cheese.

Another vote for neither. There is nothing wrong with either (although you should track the calories carefully in the cream and sugar if you add them to your coffee) and completely cutting out what you love in the name of health or weight loss or whatever can be difficult to sustain long term.

Use another entry.

Not worth it, IMO. Some people do well with a structured, step-by-step program that tells them what, when, and how much to eat, so it's really up to how you operate. That said, it is not at all necessary, and simply counting calories on MFP will be sufficient if you're looking to lose weight. I don't like being told what…

You can actually do pretty well at McDonald's, calorie and macro-wise. My go-to is always a McDouble with a 4 pc McNugget. 570 calories and 33 grams of protein.

Ice cream. The answer is always ice cream.

I use it in place of sour cream and it is so good with chicken fajitas!
