I hear ya! My SIL wanted to throw me a "Wrap Party" for my birthday. She was like "But I thought you were trying to lose weight?! If you sign up to be a distributor (only $99!), then you get free wraps! So you an lose weight AND make money." Dumb is dumb. No, thank you! Not even remotely interested.

My sister-in-law is hocking some bullcrap like this. Some "IT Works" pyramid scheme junk. "Fat burner" pills and wraps and gels. "Detox" pills and powders. All for the low, low price of $60-$350 per week! x.x I'd rather be fat than stupid.

I'm assuming that boiling would take the Snot Factor through the roof. Still super weary of frying. Would 'frying' them in the oven maybe reduce the snottiness? I may give roasting a shot. You can pretty much roast anything and make it edible with some salt and EVOO.

Is there a particular food that really sets you off? For me, if I have a craving for something (let's just use chocolate as an example), it will start off as just a craving for that one thing. But if I don't indulge that craving and let myself have a little piece of chocolate, then I start craving EVERYTHING.

This is pretty much my opinion too. The whole "don't eat after 7/8/9 at night" argument never made sense to me. If you're within your goal, it shouldn't matter when you eat the bulk of your calories.

I prefer to workout around 8a-9a, but my husband is still asleep then. We live in a tiny house that squeaks & shakes when I jump around. So I've moved my indoor workout time to 4:30p after he is gone to work. When it's nice outside, I'll still go for a run around 8am, though.

I restarted 30DS this week. I have 3lb and 5lb weights, which I didn't want to use. So I grabbed two big water bottles and used those as weights. I've heard of people using soup cans, too. They give you a little weight without being too much when you're just starting out.
