I am short so I have the opposite problem. However, I would still highly recommend consignment shopping. You can find a huge variety of brands/styles in one place. Just try on different sizes. I always find things that fit perfectly.

Running is not going to turn you into a stick figure. It will really work and tone your leg muscles. Trust me, I have tree trunks, and I don't even run every day! I did the C25K program with NO music just to get my breathing and rhythm right, but I feel ya! The right music will perk you up and you go faster and longer! I have a large playlist so I haven't gotten bored yet, but I do click to skip some songs so may have to edit it soon... Music definitely made my runs better!
