I know how you feel. When I had braces (for 2+ years) I was nervous about having them off and it did feel really weird for a while. But you find that you smile more...you can eat what you want again! and it isn't as bad as you are expecting when they are taking them off! Trust me :)

I've lost a back size without losing a cup size so I still look the same up top...Does that make me abnormal? :sad:

Every time I had a milkshake I'd throw up :sick: I think that is counter-productive lol! So for me it didn't work!

Every so often I eat what I want regardless of calories. I might still work out but I go a little over i.e. scoff my face. Now, to some it doesn't work and some people don't believe it. I find my boobs are odd lol. I started at 40FF...I've 38FF now. The lady said I will only be losing my back size as opposed to cup size ... why I have no idea. :noway: I was hoping to go down at least one cup size....not too much though :wink:

^^ This, I have one friend that does that. The other skinny(ish...totally catching up!! :happy: ) one now understands that I'll eat what I want if we go out for a meal...and now she does the same lol. Burgers all the way!! :love:

Lol, If I eat only 1200 I get soooo cranky. literally like this ... :grumble: 1400 is a good aim and I am adorable if I eat that much. AND I still lose weight :D

I hate the "but you don't need to lose weight" comment....whilst they are eating a salad and complaining that their size 6 body is sooo fat. :grumble: Dude, I'm overweight and trying to lose, accept it and move on with your life.

mine are very similar. the bones in my legs aren't straight so my feet stick out. what I did was to keep at it and keep practising. I couldn't do squats weeks ago and now I am a lot better.

I feel you on this. I'm in the exact position. I'm experimenting with more eating, less exercise on day then switch. More water. more exercise, more weights more cardio. AHHH!!!

I've only gone down a back size. Not even a cup size. Yet I've lost sizes in clothes and everything. It's so weird. Was expecting to lose a lot more. Doesn't go with the logic!

^ This. And don't just quick add! searching adds all the other stuff like protein, sugar and sodium which is good to keep track of too!! We all want a quick fix but all of us on MFP have realised it just isnt going to happen! You'll learn that soon enough. Once you're past that you'll be just as happy when you lose 0.1lbs…

I understand completely! I fell off the bandwagon this Xmas and I was lucky to have my mini community on MFP to support me back into exercising and good food choices. Feel free to add me. I'm 21, in the UK, 5"4 and also aiming to get to 145lbs...I also love my dogs!!!! :happy:

I loved it. However you lose inches more than pounds and that can be disheartening for some people. I used it as the first exercise to get me into exercising rather than sitting watching tv!

I'm a total binge eater. my emotions are way too linked with my food. it's to the point of worry for me. I've been doing a lot better but xmas hasn't helped. I'm trying to up my water intake to prevent it but its difficult. I always forget to drink :noway: odd i know.
