some weeks i have lost a pound the following week 3 pounds up to 4 pounds, I am eating pretty much the same each week and I do not eat all my exercise calories. I am comfortable at around 1500 to 1700 calories a day I still have loads of energy and not very hungry often.

hi i found this the best way to go just log all your food i have lost 21lb so far but feel like i live a normal life and eat nice things as well be positive also include some exercise works wonders

I am guessing your a single mum so must be pretty tough and all that rushing around is exercise of sorts. I would suggest perhaps some biking or walking if you can fit it in. I think i just prefer the fresh air I do not mind if its cold or wet, plus I am tight and paying a load of money out when i can exercise just as good when out in the fresh air for free

I feel i am doing good I started on the 28th August and have lost about 12lb so far. I just wondered how others look at there calorie intake. I feel pretty good and please feel free to look at my diary.

Perhaps its just me I dislike the gym I feel more at home in the fresh air. I spend most of time doing cardio and have a few weights in the garage if i want to use them.

I know its not everyone cup of tea but buy some proper cycle shorts you can get them baggy type with an insert. Also vital a decent saddle.

I would try and have more meals over a longer period perhaps 5 a day depending when you train. My daughter who is in the army and runs 10k and half marathons will run around 8 miles or fast walk with kit. She is doing this about 5/6 times a week. Oh and you have to have something you enjoy or else whats the point. Please feel free to have a look at my diary it seems to be working for me. I only log exercise that i do outside my normal day ie I take the dog for a walk every morning.

I have noticed alot of people put down exercise which they do every day ie walking in your job as an example. I would not include any exercise I do ever day as I understand it the body gets used to this level of activity.
