  • 5'2" and eating between 1680 - 2080 :) (Anything below my TDEE really haha.
  • From personal experience, when my family and I first stepped onto Canada from Singapore, it was 10pm local time and we were famished. The nearest restaurant was Boston Pizza. Naturally, I ordered a large roasted pork back ribs along with the fries, etc. I ordered a large because back in Singapore, I would have ordered a…
  • Check Blogilates' Cheap Clean Eats! http://www.blogilates.com/cce-fb :)
  • I love cats. If not for my fiance, I had planned to own a big house, and would be actively fostering kittens from the SPCA and even having cats of my very own. Not much has changed now that I have my fiance though, just that maybe the quantity maybe a tad limited. Compromising in a relationship is not that bad after all…
  • That would be your TDEE (not including exercise) minus BMR So, figure out your BMR. Then your TDEE From LaurenAOK So yeah, TDEE - BMR
  • Get the dress tailored. Weddings are stressful as is. Fitting into the dress would be the last thing you want to think about. It's supposed to be a happy occasion :) Congratulations by the way!

  • What an awesome forum topic ! :) Why I am on MFP? I was humiliated, sad, fat, had a low self esteem, yet very very determined to lose the weight! I had already lost 10 lbs in my own, and was just looking through the android app store, stumbled onto MFP and thought why the hell not! :) Never looked back since, it has taught…
  • I love my eggs! Most importantly, I eat them whole! I have at least 2 eggs a day :)

  • I have it every now and then, like my last one was probably KFC which was about two or three days ago. I just fit it within my calorie intake and macros. No biggie. Edit to add: I LOVE YOUR HAIR COLOR(s)!! I always wanted to sport that kinda do.
  • I only refer to somatypes when I have really bad days. I'd be like, "ah wells, can't seem to lose weight today, it is okay I am an endomorph" lol. It somehow makes me feel better. Otherwise, I don't bother with them. I just eat at a calorie deficit. and train hard. :)
  • That video makes me sad. I do agree with him on two points, 1. Overconsumption is not the problem, it is the symptom of other issues which lead to over eating. It's a coping mechanism. 2. "Friends" who purposely make fun of you with the intention of making you see that being fat is "bad" are really not doing you any favor,…
  • Another key ingredient to losing weight is Patience. You didn't gain all that weight in a week, a month or even two months, so don't expect to lose all that weight that quickly. You seem to be doing alright with food and exercise (strength training + cardio wtg!), so just keep at it, stay committed and be patient! You are…
  • Definitely overconsumption and lack of activity i.e. laziness. How I am overcoming it? Well, I consume better food of the right amount of calories for my body and I exercise daily!
  • You've already lost so much and you only need a few more lbs till your goal weight? Keep at whatever you are currently doing! Crash diets are a no no. Edit to add that there are many shake replacement diets that work according to how you just described it.
  • I have been following this recipe http://allrecipes.com/recipe/baked-salmon-ii/#&panel1-1 for the past 3 years and I am totally in love with it. It is my favorite Baked Salmon recipe. :) Other than the size of salmon (I use whichever size, and even larger than the one that is on the recipe), I follow everything else to a T…

  • Some people just gotta run all the way to the gym after being the mascot of one of the biggest (and infamous) food industries.
  • 1. Blogilates! Check out her official website here with her monthly schedules http://www.blogilates.com/ Her exercise videos are in youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates?feature=watch She is really fun to watch, and really hyper. • Well I won't really say simple, it is hard work. It takes discipline, commitment and lots of patience. It requires you to be forgiving to yourself too, just remember that you won't reverse your progress overeating for a day or two (after all you didn't gain all that weight in a short period). It may take longer than a…
  • Omg that is epic! Such an inspiration! Hm.. I wonder how I am going to implement some lifting in the nursing home I work in lol.
  • What triggered me to get off my *kitten* and start on this weight loss journey were some really bad comments I got from a picture of me that was posted in a local newspaper. I was upset, angry and just wanted to kill them all. Of course, with progress, and consistent exercise (amazingly it works so much better than any…
  • Well, I eat rice during dinner daily. It is a staple to me. And I have been losing consistently. Just have to make sure to fit it within your calorie goals and your macros and you'd do just fine :) Edited to add that I use a food scale religiously for an accurate food log. :)
  • I'm 5'2" and 158.6lbs last I checked Waist = 30" Hips = 35"
  • I am going into my third week of the Push Phase of TF (the second round I am doing the whole program). I am currently doing a hybrid of Chalean Extreme and TF though.Totally awesome! Feel free to add me!
  • Diet aside, since mostly everyone's pushing for that reasoning (which by the way is probably true since, in order to get bulky - i hope from increasing muscle mass and not fat - you need to be eating at a surplus) Maybe, do more reps with relatively lighter weights? Just to maintain muscle. Instead of increasing heavy…
  • I drink Promasil. It has 22g protein 0g carbs and 1-2g fats (can't remember but it is low) for a total of 98 calories per scoop. Tastes pretty awesome too. I love the milk chocolate one. :)
  • Attractiveness knows no race.
  • My heart is in it this time. I am passionate about weight loss and don't just see it as numbers dropping from the scale, but I see the overall fitness I gained from it. I also feel so much better about myself, and after "forcing" myself to workout for about a month and diligently logging my food, it just becomes a habit,…
  • Urgh, i know what you mean, they keep asking what my "secret" is. I always tell them no secret at all. I tell them I eat lesser than before but not necessarily starving myself (they don't understand calorie deficit, this is the best I can do without going into the whole TDEE BMR stuff), exercising more, lifting heavy, and…
