I ran into that issue with protein as well. I found oikos Greek yogurt has helped a lot, beef jerky, protein shakes, and chicken breast work the best for me. Best of luck to your journey, feel free to add if you're looking for friends.

Yes - I've been on a calorie deficit since I started and am doing a powerlifting program. I'm also the strongest I've literally ever been. You need to prioritize your protein intake to ensure the weight you lose is fat and not muscle. I shoot for 150-200 grams of protein per day. You can calculate your needs online by…

Normally for weight lifting (or general exercise) I'm wearing new balances. The exception is if I'm deadlifting, I will wear Chuck Taylors (but I prefer just being in socks tbh).

100% prefer the gym. When I walk through the door, I put my headphones on and go. The gym I go to has a very old school feel though. I wouldn't be able to go to a place like Planet Fitness or something and work out.

I'm getting my hands tattooed once I hit my goals. But I did buy some new tunnels for my ears that should be in today just as a small reward/motivator.

Nice - I just started getting into powerlifting. With snacks I typically stick to stuff like jerky (primarily jack links since it's 60 cal w/ 7g protein, usually I'll eat three after a work out), oikos pro greek yogurt is great (140 cal, 20g protein), Carmel rice cakes with a tablespoon on peanut butter is good for a…

Being late, lack of accountability, lack of empathy, lack of self-awareness, gossiper, drama/social media addict. If all the exs were the problem, run - run as far and as fast as possible. And if they can't put their phone down for more than a few minutes at a time.

Back again, most of the friends I had on here seem to have fallen off like I did. So looking for active/supportive friends to keep each other moving forward. I'm currently trying to improve my diet and weight training 3 to 4 times a week as well with cardio.

Same, I've been on and off again here in the past. I'm down 34 lbs. from my heaviest, but I've got a long way to go - lol. I've set some personal goals (beyond lose weight/gain muscle) that I'm hoping will help keep me on track and motivated. Anyone can feel free to add me, it's always good to have support buddies!

I definitely need to expand my network. Have kept trying on and off and really need to stay focused on the goals.

Feel free to add me, always can use more friends and support!

Working on motivation and consistency myself. Been going strong for a month. Feel free to add me if you'd like.

Definitely could use some friends to help keep me on track, and vise versa. Decided to get my eating habits under control and start going to the gym.
