This is great. I was just talking to my friend this morning about how "awful" I looked in a family picture from Christmas. The photo was the only photo we have taken in years with my husbands great parents, aunts and uncles...it's an amazing picture I should cherish...not critque cuz of my tummy roll. Thank you!

I have really thick hair that is down to my mid-back and I'm planning to keep growing it out. I twist it and pile it on top of my head and wear a bandanda to keep the fly-aways off my neck to keep the sweat away from my hair line. I don't use alot of product so that helps to keep it less greasy and I often let my hair air…

Hi! Feel free to add me. I'm working on getting back to my goal weight after a couple set backs but I'm ready to jump back in. My focus isn't so much on the scale but body fat %...working on gaining muscle and strength. New, motivated friends for support is always great:)

^^^ You look great! I'm working hard for abs like that:)
-
Anyone can feel free to add me:) I took a few weeks off from logging (due to vacation and an injury) but am jumping back in. The accountability and support I've found in this community really helped me reach some of my initial goals and is helping me figure out healthy new ones. At this point I'm trying to focus not so…

^^^ Can totally relate to you! Each month is a surprise...each month has a different package of wonderful gifts: fatigue, hunger, anger, anxiety, etc. My physical is coming up so doc and I are going to have a long discussion:) haha Since losing weight and exercising more things have gotten even more odd (I'll spare ya'll…

I have my nose pierced and 4 in my ears....so nothing crazy but I really dig piercings and tattoos. Hot on men or women! I don't have any tattoos yet but I'm excited to get my first...and then most likely second...third...etc:)

I feel you pain!:( My boobs were the first thing to go so I can't commiserate now but could before. When my bust was at it's biggest I wore 2 bras (as many have mentioned)....when I lost some weight I was able to by a decent high impact sports bra (pricey but worth it!). Good luck!
-
I'm not as concerned with the number on the scale as body fat....working on lifting heavier and gaining strength. Feel free to add me:)
-
haha. Congrats on your weight loss! Keep up the hard work:)

I'll wear leggings under dresses or longish shirts. I've never worn them for exercising...yoga pants really aren't my thing either. I prefer shorts I guess. I'm thinking I'll have to find something warm and comfortable to wear running once the snow flies!

We took a road trip this summer and to save money ate out of the room. I took a George Foreman grill and cooked chicken breasts, Panini's, tilapia, etc. I had them frozen in individual meal servings and they stayed frozen in the cooler until I took them out the morning we were to cook them for supper. I also had a microwave…

Have fun training and good luck at the race! I would love to be able to run a half next year. Make sure you let us know how you do!;)

I think it is great that you are recognizing that your view on counting calories/measuring isn't a healthy attitude toward food. In some ways I can relate to you. I took a break from logging and measuring for almost a month for a few reasons...one of which that trying to maintain my weight was making me a bit crazy about…

Football!:) I'm a cheesehead! Go Packers!

My husband is in the process of losing weight as well so he complains of discomfort when he runs sometimes but the compression shorts and baby powder seem to help. He buys them through Ranger Joe's and has purchased a few different brands. Good luck!

Good for you!! Victory!:)

I was 15 when I went to Spain for a month during the summer (school exchange trip). I traveled to Canada and the Caribbean when I was younger for family vacations. When I was in college I studied for a semester in Rome. While there I was able to visit quite a few different countries. Loved it and love to travel. We value…

In your opinion what is an "increase in the birth weight of babies"? From my doctor's information an average newborn is 7.5-8.5 lbs and this is a completely healthy weight/in no way "overweight". I see alot of babies these days being born at less than 7 lbs. What have you been seeing as a trend since your last was born?…

I think what is most important is for babies and toddlers to eat a variety of fresh, healthy foods that will help them make good food choices as they grow. Alot of families don't seem to focus on the importance of eating well at a young age and wonder then why there 6 year old won't eat (or even try) vegetables. My…
