  • I totally agree with you! If we don't learn how to exercise consistently and eat properly we will only gain the weight back. Its not worth the risk.
  • I used it for about a week. It gave me such a surge I would get dizzy and had to sit down. My boyfriend loves it, but my body just couldn't handle it. Its suppose to be the *kitten*...but just not for me.
  • I use to be one of those people. I was on the hunt for low sodium foods and spent almost 3 hours in the store reading all the labels of things I bought. I found that typically items that claim low cal/fat are typically higher in sodium! I've opted to take the hit on the calories and have lower sodium on most items because…
  • I don't have it anymore, but when I was young we ate lots of watermelon. When I would accidently swallow a seed I was so fearful that a watermelon would grow in my tummy. Its funny that I still have that fleeting thought when I eat watermelon now. I don't believe it of course, but the thought still enters my mind if I…
  • Tae Bo is always interesting. LOL...I won a tae bo cd off ebay for 99 cents!!!!
  • I did it, but not intentionally. I had plateaued for 2 months. And then I ate some things that weren't all that great for me, but stayed within my goals. Then started eating better again and lost a whopping 9 lbs in 2 weeks time! So I think there is something to that.
  • That's really good! I think if we teach our kids what we are learning it will just become a way of life for them! My girls are grown, but I've always fed them veggies and fruit, but there was plenty of chips and cookies too. So glad they like good foods now. Good job!
  • That's the first thing I did. I got all the yucky food out of my house and gave it away free on freecycle. Its funny when I look in my fridge now because I have all good stuff in there and no candy in my candy dishes! :( You can do it. It gets a lot easier once you get rid of the bad foods. Get rid of the temptation.
  • I have about 3 sizes in my closet, but I sell clothing on Ebay so I have my pick of clothing. LOL...When I lose weight I just go shopping in my basement. I have about 800 pieces of clothing to chose from provided I can fit them. LOL I need to clean out my personal closet though.
  • There's all kinds! Those people are just a bit miserable. I recently deleted so called "friends" because of their lack of positive or informative influence. No tolerance in my life for the bull****! Just keep it moving!
  • I have a Rottweiller Wolfhound mix. He's HUGE but oh so lovable!!! My pup pup is so funny! He finally got use to me doing my step workout and my stair climber, but then I went and got an elliptical. He doesn't like that at all. Guess its just too much bouncing around! LOL...He barks the whole time I'm working out. He's so…
  • I always wanted to do that too. I read somewhere years ago that the average sexual encounter is like climbing 7 flights of stairs. Maybe we can log it under that. LOL Here is a site I found. http://www.c4vct.com/kym/humor/csex.htm Hee hee hee! LOL...Instead of saying, "Wait babe lemme put in my diaphragm" You'd say..."Wait…
  • I'm in the same boat as you as far as the amount of weight to lose. I've been at a stand still for about month. Haven't lost a thing. I'm working on cutting my sodium and getting my exercise up. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror today and even though I'm not losing I can tell that my body is looking leaner. I…
  • I would switch to an elliptical! LOL
  • I can't get it to work either.
  • Well wanting to lose it quickly is the first thing you need to change. You will get discouraged because it doesn't come off quickly. And if you lose it quickly you're more than likely to gain back quickly. This is a life style change so you can keep it off for good. The next thing is you will need to stay within the…
  • Don't forget your clothing weighs, so do your bowels, water retention, the food you ate before you weighed yourself maybe...all those things could be a factor, but at least its a loss. We won't lose the same every week nor will we lose every week. The point is we have to keep going! I didn't lose anything for 3 weeks..in…
  • I've eaten a banana almost every single day of my life! I feel like its earth's perfect food! I agree with the previous statements. There are good and bad calories. How can something that comes from God's green earth be bad for you unless man puts all kinds of yuck in it?
  • Or you can go to the grocery store and get you something there.
  • There is an exercise for moving furniture I believe and I would log the washing the walls as vigorous housework. As for the painting part there is one for carpentry. May be light to moderate. You're gonna burn all kinds of cals!!!!
  • I met my ex-husband on the bus! I knew when I saw him that he'd be my husband. I didn't know his name or anything about him, but I just had this feeling. But now he's my ex....LOL 8 years later... I met my sweety of 2.5 yrs on www.blackplanet.com. He chatted me up for months! I wouldn't go out with him cuz he was quite…
  • I've always wanted to go on SURVIVOR! Actually that is what inspired me to lose this weight! Watch out for me!!!!
  • I inherited my mother's collection. Every book as well as a copy of one that has never been published. I even have his comic book he wrote, a couple of callender type things...she was a huge fan!!!!
  • The first thing is to make sure you're eating the right foods. Just because you're under calories doesn't mean you're eating healthy. Then watch your sodium. A lot of folks don't realize that this is a silent evil to weight gain and hinders weight loss. Drink lots of water and make sure you take a multi-vitamin. But…
  • I was in the same boat as you with feeling crappy, but I'm on my 3rd month now and I'm feeling better. I think my body has gone into chemical withdrawal from the years of abuse. I had head aches and was hungry but now my body is adjusting to the change. Now I'm working on my sodium and the head aches have returned, but I…
  • I count it all unless I only eat a significant amount less than logged. Lets say I make a sandwich and only end up eating half of it. I'll only log half, but for left over milk or dressing I think that would be so minuscule that it will only be cushion for something that may not be so accurate.
  • Check out Hungry-girl.com There are lots of low cal/carb/sodium recipes there and or they are good. You can also google low cal/fat or sodium recipes and they will pop right up! It also helps to look at your friends' diaries to see what they eat to get you started. Good luck!
  • Follow your calorie/fat/sodium count, get your exercise in. Make sure the foods you are eating are good healthy wholesome foods. Just because you stay under you calories doesn't mean you're eating properly. Good luck and you can do it!!!!

  • No fat is not fat! There is good fat and bad fat! Fat form an olive, almond, banana are all good for you. These are fats made by nature. Saturated and trans fats are NOT good for you!

  • I add whoever requests! I have tons too. Not sure how many. Maybe upwards to 150 plus. I support everyone even if they don't reciprocate. I feel that karma will be on my side. LOL...Guess I could purge, but really whats the point! I might post that one thing that comes across their page that motivates them to do better!
