Hi ya all, Glad to be here! Great group as I really need to get back on track. I read several times that people got close to goal then put all the weight back on, and I couldn't believe it. Yet I had 10 lbs to go and I've gone backwards! So with probably 20lbs to go - if I got on the scales! I'm in

Done!

Done it - technically two minutes late and into Tuesday but I was putting it off then felt guilty and got on with it. Not as bad as I remembered although I must wear appropriate 'supportive' gear before attempting those jumping jacks and skipping moves! Now for a good long drink of water and to bed. Note to self - shred…

Hiya shredders, I am pleased to be here! I've attempted the shred before but always give up somewhere in level 2 because I get lazy. I've lost a bit of weight but it is going back on and I've noticed the flabby belly wobbling again! Enough! I need to do this and I'm going to try to keep with it this time. DVD is in the…

Yep, new month and so a fresh start. Hope I have the right mindset to stick with this one. I kept trying the 30ds but got bored and my knees complained quite painfully at times so I might modify it a bit but I'm looking forward to trying this DVD.

Eat it if you have the calories to spare BUT before you do try to think how you will feel after the chocolate hit has worn off! I make sure I have some lower calorie alternatives handy but I know sometimes only a snickers will do.
-
Yep! New week and need some routine to follow so 30ds it is....

Welcome! This is a brilliant site to keep an accurate log of your food and exercise and make some supportive friends. I'm from the south east too and was where you are now weight wise, about 18 months ago. I then lost 3 stone with MFP, joining the many support groups and taking part in challenges. You will find that…

Oh dear, not a very good start - only did 12.5 miles this week! Must do better
-
Perhaps I was being too optimistic!
-
Day 1 completed 3 miles down

Not sure I've selected the right format but .....
-
Yes indeed! I've been fighting the adiposes!
-
Sounds like me!! Haven't weighed in for a few days and it was 10lbs to go - but now it's probably more like 15!! I need some accountability too and propose to restart in earnest on 3/1 with all the naughty food gone and 30ds at the ready. Feel free to add me.
-
Been there! As it's already been suggested - log everything! Being honest resulted in me seeing that I was eating too much and once in the habit, and with all the wonderful support you can get on this site, you will lose. Yes menopause mucks up your metabolism and plays havoc with sweet cravings but you quickly learn to…

Widely anticipated and did not disappoint! Watched the first four episodes ever on Thursday evening which set the scrapyard and school scene, so nice links. Very nice to see the interaction between Tennent and Smith and I think The addition of the destroyer of Gallifrey opened up the story well. Great to see tom Baker but…

I'm 5ft8 and when I was at 204lbs my clothes were U.K. size 16/18.

Hiya I'm in the same position except I didn't get to level 3 before motivation left and laziness crept in. I found another MFP group which started on the 1st November with plenty of support and posts. Just search for 30 day shred! November 2013. Hope to see you there!
-
Day 1 done! Okay so I started it at 11..45p.m. So finished on 2nd November!

Finally tracked down a measure... Neck 14 Right Arm 12 Left Arm 12 Bust 38 Waist (smallest part) 31 Waist (at belly button) 35 Hips 40 Right Thigh 21.5 Left Thigh 21.5 Wow! That's a lot of inches! Now off to shred....
-
I'm in! Technically it's only just over an hour till 1/11 and I'm off to bed. I shall take all those measurements in the morning when I can locate a measure! Looking forward to getting shredded and chatting with you all...

Hiya! Short answer , yes it does!! You need willpower of course, but this site provides the tools, inspiration and support to hold you accountable for what you eat and how you manage your calories. Years ago I lost 3 stone with weightwatchers - and put it on again! In 9 months I've done it here without any cost. I've made…

So I've swapped the salad for soup and my excuse for not exercising has changed from 'its too hot' to ' it's too cold/wet/dark' Unfortunately the fresh fruit that was so lovely when it was hot, has no autumn substitute unless you add crumble and custard..... I can see that syrup sponge pud will have to be banned!

We will see! He has some mighty big shoes to fill - but then I say that every time the Dr is recast and they've all been brilliant!

Ok, fell by the wayside, felt guilty and worthless,,so I've done it! It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and secretly I enjoyed it despite running out of energy at the end planks!! New week, new resolve .....
-
Done! I wasn't looking forward to it after a struggle with the plank moves yesterday, but I feel good, sweaty and hot, but good! Tomorrow I will try to not fall over or flop down mid-move!
-
Done! Lots of plank moves and balancing on one leg - lost my balance lots of times but luckily nobody watching (except the dog!) I bet I will ache tomorrow!
-
Done! Caught up so day off tomorrow and then on to L2..... Might risk measuring tonight..?
-
Done! Will catch up day 10 tomorrow - Saturday. Then a day of rest before attacking level 2.
