Yard work, read a book, or clean. I force myself to stay out of the kitchen and focus on listening to my stomach!

If you made good choices and you know you didn't go over, don't worry about logging it. Life's not about logging calories. It's about making good healthy choices and mfp helps us to do that and to see what we should be eating. Don't sweat it!

I like to steam it. I bought a steamer at target for around ten dollars. You put a little water in with it and steam it for around five minutes (I use the fresh veggie button on the microwave so I am not sure on exactly how long). I don't use any butter or seasoning and I think it tastes great. Best of all, you can steam…

During the week, I pre-plan my whole day the night before. Sometimes I leave calories for snacks because I am not sure what I will want but for the most part, I plan out everything. I find that this helps me stay on track and also I find that it helps me figure out what I am going to cook for dinner that night. I think…

Try bio oil. I have some but haven't used it religiously yet. People on here rave about it and says it helps to reduce the appearance of them. You can find it for about 10 bucks at walmart.

In the exercise mode, press and hold the start/stop/reset button until it clears. It should clear and then it be stored into your memory.

I've lost ten pounds so far from zumba and am an addict. I do it 3-4 times a week. Feel free to add me.

what they said about pushing the button. If you're not doing it frequently enough and your HR elevates you will show less of a calorie burn. I guess this will help you remember your chest strap! [/quote] It should work without the chest strap though.

I just got a Sportline duo 1060 from best buy and I love it. The best thing about it is that I had 30 days to try it and if I didn't like it, i could have taken it back. But no need because I love it and find it very accurate!

I just got a sportline duo 1060. I have used it with and without a chest strap and I find it pretty accurate either way. I think if you use it without a chest strap, that you need to check your heart rate (by touching the metal part on the watch) quite often during the work out. During zumba, I normally check my hr while I…

thanks for the ideas. I'll have to try some of them. They sound yummy!

It is okay for you to eat all of your calories and all of your exercise calories. My fitness pal calculates your daily calorie deficit based on the activity level that your entered. So you are suppose to eat all of your calories and if you do that, you will have a calorie deficit still. Additionally, you are supposed to…

Sheppard's Pie I made this with Rotisserie Chicken and it was awesome. I had a bunch of leftovers and I am sure you can substitute some items for lower calorie options depending on what you are looking for. Costco - Rotisserie Chicken Breast Meat, 0.5 container (42 oz.s ea.) 840 Cal Peas and carrots - Frozen, cooked,…
