Good for you. I am no-where near a two piece and haven't been for a couple of decades. Funny but even when I probably could have I didn't. I was always shy about my body when I was younger and now I don't even like a one piece. Enjoy your two piece and wear it proudly.

Your tattoo got smaller too. Funny and awesome. Great work.

Also, remember that you continue to burn calories faster after working out than if you hadn't.

Great job - what an inspiration you have become to so many people (in your life and on MFP). You look fantastic and younger too. thanks for sharing

1200 calories doesn't seem like enough being that you also run most days. Try and increase it to 1400-1500 per day for a couple of weeks and see what happens. P.S. Love the kitty.

I don't eat them as a meal, but have had them occasionally as a snack. I don't like to waste my calories on them but will if I am between meals or if I need something quick and easy. They are yummy but have a lot of carbs. Some are better than others. Choose wisely. I like the Vector bars (chocolate) - lots of protein (9…

What is a "funbags"? Never heard that term. Is it boobs.

Good for you for taking back your life. I wish you every success as it sounds like you deserve it. Be happy! P.S. Post a new picture with your smile to show off your teeth.

I don't think he meant this in a bad way - just an observation. My husband also recognizes that it comes easier to him (not meant as a joke) and it is harder for women unless you are pumping iron hard. We are born with less muscle mass and have to work harder than men to get results. MFP started me at 1200 cals but that…

OMG I know how you feel - Just today I ate about 600 over my calories and I'm kicking myself for it now. I have lost 11 pounds so far since being on MFP in November 2012 (2 months) and I am not going to let this push me over the edge and quit. Tomorrow is a new day and I will be more vigilant about this process. EAT LESS…

My husband is very encouraging and tells me how good I look and proud that I am doing so well. However, no matter what weight I have been at, he is always very complimentary. He has never in our 19 year marriage said I didn't look good. He loves my curves, although they have been a little curvier lately (ha). He could also…

You definitely look alot smaller, regardless of what the scale says. I think it is the same for me. The scale only says 11 pounds down, but it looks like more in my clothes. The scale is not always our friend as it deceives us. Keep up the good work, as I will too!

Hey, 47 with kids too. I signed up in October 2012, but didn't really get serious for 2 weeks. So far in 2 months, I have lost 11 pounds with a goal of 40. I have changed a lot of my diet but not all - I need to make it manageable or it won't stick. I exercise 3-4 days a week for about an hour. By the time I turned 40, I…

I do take vitamins every day - "one a day" vitamin, fish oil vitamin, B vitamin, 2 magnesium vitamins (500 each). I'm covered in the vitamin area. I will try and increase my water intake - this could be the problem and I will stretch a little longer and rotate my ankles too. I hope it helps because I am excited about the…

thanks to all - I will try the info given

Just to be different from everyone else that is dogging on you, I loved your post. It is very lengthy and has a lot of information and I do agree with some of it. Building muscle is important but cardio is too. I believe a combination of both is best for most people. They both burn calories. Cardio strengthens your heart…

I don't believe in deprivation. I don't like diets that say you can't have something. If it was something you really want, then eat it, but you just have to factor it in your total daily calories. If I see something I want, I have to make the decision right then as to whether I want to use it toward my total calories - if…

Hey - just wanted to say that I love your post - it is hilarious now but I'm not sure if it was so funny at times living thru it. You stuck with it and you look wonderful. Good job and thanks for the motivation for so many others.

love your user name!

liquid is liquid - I have heard both sides of the argument and my opinion is I count my tea (3 a day - 2 reg and 1 decaf after dinner). We get alot of liquid from other ways than just water - all drinks, soup, fruit...

I hear you. The changes I have made in my diet has not been as hard as the commitment to exercise. It does not come easy to me but I am trying to make the effort every time I need to do it. I really want and need to lose weight. Good luck to you and me both.

I put peanut butter on top of my waffles or pancakes and then use less syrup. So yummy and a little more nutritious.

We eat out once a week - which usually means a burger and fries. That didn't change when I started counting my calories and watching my diet because I am worried about depriving myself of the things I have enjoyed and rebelling. So the problem for me today was that I had Mcdonalds for dinner but had to go out again after…

oh ya! temporary weight gain for women is very common (almost a given).
-
Great job - you definitely have shrunk. I agree that somedays I think to myself, this is too hard and want to just eat what I want, when I want and not exercise. But I'm hoping this time I stick with it. I love looking into the forum at the before and after pictures. You can never stop trying. :flowerforyou:

How in the world can you drink 700 calories worth of coffee. Must be specialty ones. I don't drink coffee at all, so I don't know the addiction to it. I do however drink tea and usually have 2-3 a day with some milk, no sugar. I can go without it but enjoy the taste. I usually have one after breakfast, one after lunch and…

good job - we get comfortable in the changes we make and then forget what we used to be like.
