I've never had anything low cal that remotely tastes like the real thing... Amstel Malt and Stella Blue - are low cal but also alcohol free [doubly pointless!] :drinker: If I'm watching calories I have a short and slimline mixer [Gin and slimline tonic, Jack Daniels diet coke] etc but basically I prefer to save up the cals…

If I'm in a hurry I cheat and stir fry the veggies and meat in a wok and then add a sachet of instant cuppa soup [Thai broth, Curried Muligatawny, Gumbo etc] They normally only work out about 80 cals for enough for 4 people....I just add a cup of boiling water to the soup mix as your veggies are sizzling, pour it over and…

I have 4 behives that I tend naturally in my garden so am obviously very biased about the honey that my girls produce but I would say that the health benefits of honey far outweigh Agave and also flavourwise it is far tastier. This may be of interest to you http://www.benefits-of-honey.com/honey-nutrition.html Sky x

2 spoons of almond butter isn't going to make you put on pounds so try to calm yourself down, log it and either burn it off later today or reduce your calories a bit the next day if its pushed you over your limits. Remember that you have probably got calories to eat that will still only take you to "maintenance" level and…

I've got the Shock absorber and it was well worth the money as I've had it for years and it doesn't seem to have lost any of its elasticity despite being put through the wash at least 3 times a week! I like the fact that it still gives you some shape and isn't one of those bras that make you look like your boobs are one…

School holidays are in August so you tend to get more English tourists in London that month but it is always busy so anytime would be good. Make sure you get to Camden Market! It is amazing for funky clothes, shoes, bags etc x

I've got a Ki-Fit [Bodymedia] armband like they wear on the Biggest Loser It monitors absolutely EVERY calorie I burn from the minute I get up to when i go to bed and even works when I am sleeping [as long as I wear it] Bit weird going to bed in just your armband though.....I know...TMI !

Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be From the film Australia [Lady Ashley and Drover] Although in the film it refers to discrimination it resonates with me on a personal level for many other reasons too. In my head I interpret it as Just because it is, doesn't mean that's the way it has to be At the moment I am…

Patsy Kensit on the Weight Watchers advert....they show her before photo's and she's lovely and slim. They show her today and she's still lovely and slim... That's silly I thought...what the heck did she want to lose weight for when she already was so slim [nothing against that...maybe she did have a pound or two to lose…

If you ate ok the rest of the day and feel you havent gone too over your allowance then maybe just log the day as a maintenance day?

Not sure if you've only got a DVD player or some other device but DVDs are obviously a bit limited as to what variations they can fit in in an hour or so. I invested in an Xbox and I've got the Xbox Kinetic Training DVD and that's a lot of fun - Jumping through holes in glass walls, dodging footballs that are coming flying…

I'd cheer myself up with the fact that you'd feel a darn sight worse if you slipped it on and it was too small! At least you're shrinking! Well done x

OMG, First I smacked myself in the shin doing a between the leg swing and then I managed to whack myself in the head doing halos! Thank goodness I;ve only got lightweight girly kettlebells or I would've dented myself Heading for the regular kettle and a cup of coffee...its safer Sky x

Why not just eat to maintenance level today and enjoy a guilt free evening. As long as you're not going to go totally mad and eat way over your actual maintenance cals you should be fine Sky x

It goes without saying that that we should know what we are eating but cooking from scratch isn't the same as eating totally unprocessed or clean. According to your diary you use Smash instant mash rather than fresh spuds, have shop bought cereal, bread and yogurts etc. All of these things can be "contaminated" Just sayin'

i was gong to get myself a Fitbit but after researching the best way to assess calorie expenditure opted for the the Ki-Fit which is the UK equivalent of the Body Media or Body Bug system that they use on the Biggest Loser. See here http://www.kiperformance.co.uk/default.aspx As far as I know these sort of devices are the…
