I think the best decision I ever made was to not drink my calories. Even "healthy" drinks like juice aren't so healthy when they are stripped of their nutrients, fortified, concentrated, ect.

Many ground meats in the US are packaged in tubes, which contains the ground meat on the inside and a plastic wrap that looks to be vacuum sealed around it to keep the meat fresh inside.

There is nothing inherently wrong with fat, but because it is so calorie dense, I moderate my fat intake; which in turn helps me keep calories under control.

Try adding calorie dense foods like oils or nuts. A little goes a looooooong way to add calories. Try adding some olive oil when you cook, 1 tbs is 120 calories.

I also think people take to much stock into foods being "good" or "bad". I think the terms should me "more nutritious" or "less nutritious". Refined white flour/sugar/ect for instance is less nutritious than whole intact potatoes, brown rice, ect. If you choose more nourishing foods, I think the OP is doing fine.

I've lost the bulk of my weight eating high carb. 200-300g a day. Carbs aren't bad, but like previous posters said refined carbs are! I eat WHOLE unprocessed foods; potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, brown rice, ect.

When I eat fruit I choose fruits that give you more "bang" for your buck. For example, a WHOLE canteloupe is less than 250 calories!

Like the other users said, don't confuse this as a pasta substitute. It may have "spaghetti" in the name, but it won't full fill your expectations if you are expecting a pasta taste/texture. The bad side is that I am starting to accumulate a pile of clothes I can't wear! Oh well! I told my mom (who is a size 12) that she could have my new pants when I was done shrinking lol

I've lost about 40lbs in a year.... most of which was not "actively" trying to loose weight... it just happened. I've lost about 16lbs of that in the last 2 months of dieting.

But.... there's science, and stuff I promise! Lol Honestly, this is JUST a hack.... I'm not gonna live on potato's for the rest of my life, guys, honestly! But... definitely worth it to loose the 5 pounds of bloat... I feel 10x better.
