I am in!! I am only going with 28mi for the month, 7mi for a week! I know it is little but my daughter learned to ride her bike with no training wheels, so I have been doing more biking then walking! :wink:

I have had much success with the tdee-20%. I just make sure I eat that and set my calories burn for exercise to 1 to not play with my numbers! After every 5lbs I redo numbers! I've found it works! Most people on hear have done both ways. Just do what you think is easy for your lifestyle!

Welcome!!! I completely love this site too!!! I don't get to the gym much either since I am a stay at home mom of two busy kids!!! I love the at home workout DVDs, you tube videos, and on demand workouts! 30 min and you are done!!! Feel free to add for support!!!

Im 34, 5'5", I eat 1670 a day! Im light exercise on the edge of being moderate! That is the my TDEE-15%

I'm similar....I'm 5'5" that had a start weight of 196lbs! My current weight is 161! My goal weight is 145!!

Hey!! I am a stay at home mom of a 3 yr and 5 yr!! I've lost almost 35lbs and have the last 15 to go to get to my ultimate goal weight!! I would love to be there by summer and need lots of motivation wine the last 15 is the hardest!! I'm excited. About the group!!

Just a note I was doing 24% for awhile and started to see a real slow progress! I upped it to 20% and I am seeing the weight come off! Maybe think about going to 20%!! Just a thought!

I felt that way too at first!!! But putting it in my notes and mentally knowing I am still hitting a good workout still is gratifying to me!!!

If you are using the TDEE method you should be eating to the 1750! Your calories burned are already in that number. I usually set my calories burned to 1 so it doesnt play with my numbers and i make sure I eat to that TDEE. I usually input the calories burned in my notes so I know how my workout was!

I'm no expert just figured I'd try and help out!!! What website did you use to calculate your tdee?? Do you eat workout calories back?? I would just play around with what you think to make it work!! I read some people on here will take their tdee and subtract 500 and that works!!!
