Challenge #1, bring it! No fizzy juice, cakes or sweets for me. OH still can't give up his Irn Bru so there will be plenty temptation in the house. Suppose that's what makes it a challenge.

I'm 5"7. My goals are to get into the healthy bmi range (about 150lbs), be able to walk/jog/run without getting shin splints, be able to tie my laces without holding my breath, learn to cook healthy delicious meals, keep not smoking (on day 3 now), do at least 30 minutes activity a day. Just a couple of my goals! :)

I was thinking about not putting any pictures up but I need to kick my butt into gear properly so here they are. I am quite disgusted that I've let myself slip this much but I'm going to use 2013 as the year I get my life back on track. I no longer want constant back pain or shin splints if I walk for more than 5 minutes.…

I get really bad shin splints in both my legs, I tend to rest for a bit then start exercising again. I'm hoping as I lose weight and the strain is taken off my joints that they will ease off a bit.
