Mom of two here. I'm also guilty of finishing off the Mac and cheese!

Nuts are calorie dense but a single serving is a great snack with healthy fats that can kill the hunger for a while. Fresh veggies and hummus is another great dairy free snack, I love red bell pepper with roasted garlic hummus. If you eat soy edamame are great to snack on.

I have no regrets about spending the money for a vitamix. You can find sellers that have refurbished ones for less money. I can promise you there will be no leafy chunkiness at all just smoooooooth smoothie.

Wow, congrats on an amazing job!

I don't calculate them into my daily goals but I feel like it gives me a little wiggle room if I go over by a snack...or two.

An easy way to do intervals with your treadmill is to adjust the incline every few minutes. Some have a hill running preprogrammed and it will do it for you

9 months postpartum and in the same boat. I lost almost 30 lbs in the first few weeks after delivery and then gained 10 between months three and six. It is hard to control hunger but logging calories helps Leave calories for snacks to avoid getting to that "food crazed" state. I was in a similar situation with my first…

I use the uncooked. I think it is easier to measure

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Seeing myself in pictures especially from behind is always shocking. When I look at pictures from 80 lbs ago I can't believe that I just never really "saw" what I actually looked like.

Weight gain is normal and necessary in pregnancy. You need about 300 extra calories a day to support a growing baby. Most of the weight gain is in the second half of pregnancy. Make sure you are eating a healthy diet with lots of fruits and veggies. If you aren't on prenatal a start today! Don't wait until you go to the…

I usually get a fajita taco salad and don't eat the shell. Chips and guacamole are a huge weakness but I can't say no. Just portion some out on a plate instead of reaching into the basket over and over

Definitely not a nutcase! It is sad but at least for me I forgot what "real food" tastes like. It's delicious! But it takes giving up a lot of the crap to "reset" your taste buds

I only have time to go once a week myself. I just make sure to use the most perishable produce first and by the end of the week I'm usually using some frozen veggies and chicken breasts

I think it really sounds like it is what you think it is, you are craving carbs. There are a lot of bland calorie dense carb laden foods. Just do your best with portion control and you really can eat anything. Cooking for yourself puts you in control of spice levels. But I also agree with other posters that it may be the…

My prom dress. I know it is silly but it is a short beaded black cocktail dress that I would still wear today. I don't have anywhere to get dressed up but I would love to zip up that size ten and dance around in front of the mirror!

I thought I was low on iron but I've found some of the foods I logged only had calories carbs fat and sodium information so it just wasn't counted. make sure that when you log the options you choose include all of the micronutrient info as well

There is no comparison. Real butter rules!

Keep up the good work mama! Lean meats are an important way to get your protein. You can have some extra calories now so nuts make a great healthy snack that requires no prep at all. There are lots of veggies that may not be so gassy for baby, zucchini other squashes etc. don't forget about fruits. Don't try to cut too…

I have an Oster and it works great. I use it for a lot more than fondue. One nice feature is the power cord is magnetic so if it gets bumped bubbling cheese won't spill the cord just detaches

I like smoothies too but I have to watch the calories. I try to keep it in check with limiting pineapple to no more than half a cup because that seems to be one of the higher calorie fruits. Apples add a good amount of sweetness and strawberries really add volume to them with fewer calories. Make sure the liquids you use…

I'd love to! My LO is eight months old and I'm struggling too. The hunger makes losing weight rough but we can do it

I'm eight months post baby two and really motivated to get in shape for good. Please add me

Congrats on your hard work! Thank you for sharing your journey

Add me! We have similar stats. 35, 5'10, 202

Here too. I work full time plus one weekend per month. I have a two year old and an eight month old. With getting home at six making dinner cleaning up and giving two baths I'm exhausted when they go to bed at eight but if I'm going to workout that is my only time.

When your choices are limited portion control is key.

Can I still join in? I'm 35, 5'10", and currently weigh 202. I'm trying to reach 175 by my vacation June 1st. I've weighed as much as 283, lost 80 lbs then had a baby, got down to 184 (1 damn pound short of losing 100!) then had another baby and didn't do very well keeping my weight gain in check. Long story short I was…
