I'm going to be devil's advocate here just a bit. I want to make sure you know, op, that fat loss without daily workouts is possible if you keep your nutrition under control. You said you already have one day a week on sunday when you can get a workout in. If you can find one more 20-30 minute block somewhere, that would…

Guys, I'm pretty sure this is a confirmed troll thread.

I know eating a high amount of carbs and salt will bloat you, and dairy bloats people with lactose issues. If you want to "lose" a lot of water weight in a hurry eat no carbs for a few days. But those things are temporary for most people. I am mildly suspicious of Dr Oz.

I don't have a lot of cravings during that time of the month, but this. Buy a chocolate bar. Buy a really good one. Eat it, log it, and keep it at or below your TDEE. One candy bar a month is not going to ruin your progress.

I'm going to stop. I could link to studies that prove that what I'm saying is a reality for many people. I could talk to you about how much I have lost already before using MFP. I could make comparisons to people who engage in other "self destructive behavior" and give examples of studies showing that bullying and playing…

I meant emotional weakness. I'm "sensitive" on this subject because of repeated harassment at a young age, especially, as I said, from doctors who among other things didn't speak to one another and didn't realize that the reason I wasn't losing weight when put on a special plan by a nutritionist and following said plan was…

I have a desk job, but it takes care of itself because it's a little over 2 miles from my house and I walk to work. I've seen this suggested for home use by someone else on the forums for light exercise while feeding your internet addiction. Depending on your desk and how cool your office manager is with it, it might work…

Step 1: Be a jerk to someone Step 2: Tell the person they are just too weak to handle it or that you have to do this because they are weak Step 3: The person believes they are weak, and doesn't try to be stronger Step 4: Food doesn't judge, yell, or tell you how weak you are.

I'm quitting the gym because of this. With the amount of money I spend on it I can afford to buy a few pieces of home equipment and a DVD or two. Plus that's great motivation to help with my messy apartment. I don't have a car. When I can work enough shifts to make it worth it, walking to work is great for me. It's not…

This. I've heard doctors hate this show with a flaming passion because of all the people who get hurt trying to replicate it. I've also heard that people get hurt on the show from dehydration because of trying to use water weight to make loss more dramatic fairly often. Worst of all, I hate how this show reinforces the…

My man is like this, but we've slowly been expanding his list of exceptions to the no veggie rule. I got a grocery gift card from work and bought lean steaks. I cooked them and had mine with a smallish salad. He had potato chips and salad covered in huge amounts of cheese and french dressing. He will eat most lean meats so…

I've never seen someone who was not super thin have one. If I don't notice it, I probably don't find it "creepy." I am speaking specifically about a gap like in the pro ana "do it for the gap between your thighs" picture. A large gap with square edges in the pubic area. In the pic someone posted, it looked almost the same…

I didn't intend it to be body shaming, I intended it to be true. I admire many things about naturally slim bodies, but I've never actually seen someone with a "thigh gap" who was naturally thin, I've only ever seen it on pro ana tumblrs and obviously seriously underweight models. Like people who's ribs you can count or…

Everytime I leave the house I at minimum put on tinted chapstick. It's a habit and I feel half naked without it. I've come from work and been wearing makeup to the gym sometimes, but other than that, no.

I totally added these to my pintrest. I wonder if my muffin pan is the right size. I would love to make a bunch of these to have to pack for lunches or eat as snacks!
-
First, you sound like a very small hourglass shape to me, with the waist about 8 inches smaller than everything else and the hips and bust so close together. Secondly, I find thigh gaps creepy, but as far as I know, anyone can have one if they lose enough fat. Whether or not that's healthy is up to you. It has to do with…

Yep. My man and I have been living together for over 2 years and were off and on before that. He's a chubby chaser and tells me I'm sexy all the time. Even after I developed cellulite. I want to get in shape to look better for me, not because I'm afraid of losing him. Actually, I've seen most of his exes on FB or met them…

2 pairs of "Women's Plus Side Ruched Bootcut Yoga Pants" from ON A one piece swimsuit that could be more practical from ON because the stupid straps are removable and one of them got lost inside my dresser somehow. 1 pair of the regular boot cut yogas from on in the XL size (These aren't as wicking or as nice as the plus…

I'm 27 and I'm at 269. Just started a new job where I will be walking for an hour to work each weekday, hoping to add some kind of strength training in the next two weeks and my bf has committed to taking a dance-cardio class with me. I've never used mfp before, but I like it a lot better than other sites I've used.

Make out with my boyfriend.

Have you ever tried Mio Energy? I adore that stuff.

I can say from experience, don't do that. Seriously, I put some of these in my bra while waiting in line for a winter concert once. It warmed me up wonderfully, but I got some pretty nasty chemical burns.

I'm sorry but I don't think I made this clear. I do have a gym membership because it is cheaper than seeing a doctor or even what I pay in a month for my cell phone bill because I got a deal from my job if I agreed to join for 2 years. I was giving examples of things poor people do in the long run that end up costing more…

Sure. These are some things I want to do that I think would be good challenges Try out a new physical activity or workout that you've never done before- yoga, salsa dancing, couch to 5k, whatever. Get in at least a 20 min workout every day for a week Invent a new, healthy recipe I'm eager to hear everyone else's ideas!

Oh god, this. I will know when I've completely changed all my disordered eating habits because I will be able to eat less than a whole bag of sour cream and onion chips in one sitting. Right now, I just don't buy them.
-
So is buying shoes that wear out every 3 months or buying ramen noodles because they are cheap and eating so many of them to feel full that you become fat or buying a POS car that eats money and gasoline on a regular basis or having a checking account with fees because it's the only one available at your income level or a…

Filename says June 8th 2012. All my cameras are crappy and I'm not photogenic. It will probably be there for like 2 years.

I have a few times so now I'm trying to plan my day a bit more so I have a late evening snack planned. I'm naturally kind of a night owl and tend to stay up later.

This. Why are you unemployed but not getting unemployment? If you can qualify, get it asap. There is no shame in wanting to live a decent life while you look for work. And I'd apply for food stamps as well. I hesitated to do it for years, but I was so glad when I did. It makes everything so much less stressful. I would…
