I am 5'7 and my Dr wants me at around 130lbs which isn't even my goal weight. I would be just as happy around 160-170 if I can get there.

My b/f is having weight loss surgery as well. He will be meeting with his dietitian and social worker etc sometime in Feb! We went to the information session and my goodness, it was a huge eye opener even for myself. I don't think anyone here has a right to assume anything. If their relationship was fine up until the point she came out then clearly that would be where the issue is. Also, who is to say her mother (or parents, we dont know that situation either) paid for her schooling? I know LOTS of kids who pay their way through school…

My motivation is def my son. I want to be around for him for a long time and I want to be able to do all the fun things with him without having to sit on the sidelines due to my weight getting in the way. Of course, better health is awesome too!!

Maybe so for your first post but you keep coming back to keep adding your two cents in and making sure people feel stupid for asking this question, then making a total mock of it in a troll thread. Again, not what I would expect from a site that is supposed to be encouraging to others.

I tend to feel better when I have someone there to help me. When she refers to cleaning, she isn't referring to light cleaning, she is moving furniture around, she is moving the fridge, stove, couches etc. She is scrubbing on her hands and knees cleaning. I also find gals can def be way more critical on each other as well. If it works for you and you know and understand the health risk that go with those kinds of diets, then have at it! Good luck! If it gets your heart going and you are sweating, I would def count it as an activity. Heavy cleaning is a lot of work and takes a lot of energy. An activity that can burn 313 cals in one hr I think is worthy of logging, but that is just me :-)
