I started not being able to do a single (no weight) squat. I had to work my way up. When I finally was able to do 20 non-stop that is when I started adding small weights like holding 10 pound dumbells. My progress has been slow but it has been so worth it. I agree -lose the weight first. If you add muscle to existing weight, you just look bigger.

I just started yoga on my rest days. I found that it really helps the tightness. I only do beginners yoga. If your having doms, then keep moving it actual helps it.

I'm 5.10 also but a lot older. I am currently shooting for 150. In high school, I did gymnastics and was very fit. Back then I weighed 140. You could probably do it but it is a huge goal. I think that you should set a smaller goal first. When you get there, set a new goal.
