  • Mortgage loan underwriter... I work from home so it is easy to slack off on eating right.
  • The Beaver (with Mel Gibson.) It was odd and I don't think I would recommend it.
  • I had a long history of ulcers so the sleeve was the better of the two options for me. My doctor said people heal better with fewer complications. I was worried I would not loose enough weight but just like everyone says "this is a tool, not a magic pill."
  • I am having the same problem. I am at 9 days after surgery. I can manage 4oz of broth, smooth soup, Jello, milk, and juice but, not protein shakes. There is just something about the density of the protein shake that I can't do. Is there a less dense high protein option for people on liquid only?
  • I just had surgery (the sleeve) on March 24th. I am only cleared to walk but I need some motivation to get moving. Starting: 198.8 Goal: 190
  • I have been on Topamax for over 10 years for seizures. I have not seen any weight loss. I take it at bedtime and that greatly eliminates me feeling foggy or forgetful. It is a drug your body gets dependent on so if you use it for weight control, you might just gain all the weight back as soon as you stop taking it.

  • I'm going to do sit ups. I always say that I want to do them but I never get around to them so that is what I chose! I will start with 1 and add 5 each day.
  • Ok, so, I am really bad about updating! I love to read the post and you all are so encouraging. Here is my weekly challenge: Tues-I love that I love my job. Wed-I love that I get up every morning to go to the gym (I love my gym.) Thurs-I love that I was blessed with a wonderful son and spontaneous husband. Fri-I love that…
  • How do you calculate calories for homemade juice? I have been avoiding making it because I didn't know how to add it to MFP.
  • I have always been good at this! I drink three to four 33oz bottles of water a day. I have a really nice Camelback bottle that I carry with me EVERYWHERE! And when I say everywhere, I mean everywhere. It has been in meeting, fishing, shopping, on planes, in a dozen states, at the movie, gym, family reunions,…
  • I copied and pasted the link but, it will not open. It says it cannot be displayed. :) Any advice?

  • I'm 31 and I have been in menopause for 6 years thanks to a full hysterectomy at 25. I have gained 75 pounds within 5 years. It has been a battle to lose every pound since then. I have had every test possible and my doctor said that this is just the way it is. When we go into menopause our bodies slow down. I stick to 1200…
  • I have been taking Topamax for over 10 and still have days that I have side effects. I didn't start taking it for weight loss of course but, I didn't notice any. For me, I decided that the benefits of the drug outweighed the side effects. I also take it at bedtime so I don't notice the dizziness, fogginess, or others as…
  • Hello! I'm at 224 and I'm defintely ready to be under 200... It is such a slow process! I am like you, I am starting over again. I hope this time is better!
