Thanks, I will give that a go, was thinking about cutting cardio out completely do you advise that?
-
Why don't you just guess? (which is all you will be doing with a HRM)
-
I guess you haven't got any replies as using a HRM is probably the only way to find out how to log it.
-
Just one 12KG one.

I've recently started doing them and it does burn a lot of calories while making my all round shape firmer. I bought a Bob Harper DVD which is a good way to do it as opposed to thinking what to do with it with regards to routines.

Level 3 is more core based with a lot more resistance jumps, to me it felt like it was concentrating on that area.
-
I found level 2 harder.

I don't eat mine back, I eat my 2160 cals which is set to maintain and never eat back the 400-600 I burn a day, my weight has continued to drop and my muscles are still forming and coming through. I am thinking about trying it for a week to see the other side but right now I'm eating plenty without the exercise calories…
-
Its a short workout, do it twice.
-
I've been doing Insanity, 30 Day Shred and just started Bob Harper's Total body sculptured Kettlebell workout. Recommend them all.
-
I guess it depends on if he wants to be cut or just in control of his all round shape.
-
I'm maintaining right now and eat 2160 calories a day, 2 of those days a week are spent eating junk because my other half is expecting so I join in, I have continued to lose a pound a week and have never put on since I've started using this app and stayed within my calorie limit. I guess you shouldn't do it every day and…

Not sure about that really, the portions were tiny and there was a lot of salad and fish involved, the worse thing that I could gather was a tiny square of Pork belly, it was a French restaurant and I found the dishes very light. I'm guessing the Pork belly and desert dishes may have been more but the starter dishes were…
-
Yeah that's the plan, gonna allocate 150 cals per dish.
-
Not gone yet, leaving in 20 mins.

Funny enough I did an extra workout today (Pure Cardio from Insanity) aswel as my usual kettlebell workout and will do my usual Kettlebell workout before I go. I'm so close to the end of my battle so I'm really trying to be focussed for these last few weeks/months. Thank you, I will do.

Knew that would work!!!! It's a 7 course menu (a groupon special so it's by no means expensive lol) Here's a link to it http://lautrepied.livebookings.biz/menus/view/7079 Thanks for the replies, Fattyfoodie, I think I may just allocate 2000 calories for it and hope it's around that or under, I was after some sort of…

Eat out but keep it within your calorie intake, ditch the guilt!!!!!
-
A load of peasants on here it seems.
-
I did this after going back to it after Insanity, saw great results, not sure if it sped things up but the results were good as was the calorie burn. I found it a bit boring though.
-
Thanks you two, that helps a lot, will do it every day.
-
ha, if they ever made a Scream 5 Ghostface could run around feading people McD Wraps and create carnage everywhere.
-
I guess those people are the ones that wear 'Michael Jackson' surgical masks and wear rubber gloves where there's 'people eveywhere'
-
I eat McDonalds once a week (sometimes twice) and my weight has gone down not up and I've continued to lose weight, ok it's not healthy but neither is breathing in the air outside.
-
You have to tell yourself that you won't put the weight back on from having one rest day. There's nothing wrong with wanting to exercise, I'm the same, I can stop now if I want but I enjoy it so I will carry on but now I've made a new rule that its a Mon - Fri thing with Sat and Sun as rest days. Try that, may help you…
-
Just finished it for the second time, just get yourself through week one and the rest will take care of itself.

I feel your pain, I've been at this since October and pretty much all my fat has gone apart from a tiny bit at the front of my belly and a tiny bit behind each hip. If I stand infront of the mirror and jump about than I can see all the muscle shapes including the formation of the V but those fatty areas still move up and…

There's no harm in wearing it, the harm is if you plan to eat those calories back or base your diet around them because its not accurate. Might be wrong but if your heart is pumping fast you are burning calories so you just have to accept that it might not be 100% accurate but its there to gauge your workout.
-
Not worth it without the strap as its basically guess work.
-
Surely you just buy a HRM, create a new exercise called '30 Day Shred Level 1' and record how many calories you burn at the end of the workout according to the monitor? Why the need to over complicate things?
