I would love love love to see 145 lbs again but I saw that weight when I was in 9th grade. However I'd be happy and healthy at 170

I agree completely. :)

Simply confuse your body. I know people who've been stuck and a weekend splurge will help their body get back on track. Also confuse your body with your workouts. Don't do the same stuff all the time and this way your body won't get use to it.

This is a favorite food of mine and I recently found out raw broccoli is a fat burner! <3

I agree. I cringe everytime I get on the scale. I yo yo alot so it's a gamble for me. But I get really mad when I gain weight and I'm trying to stop that. Its all part of weight loss. Good luck and I'm sure you'll be fine. No shame in the inital weigh in. It's just a number that will eventually go down :)

I tend to do the same as this... My fiance is over weight with me so this is doing us both good.

 I have my own wedding in 2 years. Trust me I'm working my butt off to look great in my dress. I'll add you and we can do it together. This site is great and so is the support system!

They should be covered by insurance. If you can call your insurance company. You might need to go to the Dr and have them refer you so it can be covered under insurance. Good Luck.

I have found i don't reach the stuck points because I keep my body guessing. If you find that you're reaching your plateau try mixing up your exercies... ie if you do alot of walking and nothing else add a little bit of jogging, if you dance all the time add yoga since these all tend to use different muscles your body will…

I liked the book You on a Diet by Dr. Oz. Fantastic read as well and same with Eat this Not that. The one book I have teaches you how to shop. Check them out!

I agree if it's everyone once in a while that's ok. You obviously don't want to do this everyday because unhealthy things follow it. Even if you're losing weight your starving your body of essential nutrients, I had fast food twice yesterday - not the good thing to do. But when you crave it you should treat yourself to it…

The key is keep changing up everything you do. Don't let your body get use to it and then you won't plateau. It's not going to be easy but I have a feeling if you stay strict that you can do it. People don't realize how easy it CAN be to lose that much weight 2lbs a week and stay healthy and keep moving. The trick is no…

If you stuck with losing 2 -3 lbs a week you could lose easily in 11 weeks about 22-33 lbs ... just as a healthy tip. You should never try to lose more than 2-3 lbs / week. I would stick with 2lbs per week and you should be ok so somewhere between 20-30 lbs. :) I have all the faith in the world that you can do it!!!

My picture was the girl I use to be....i'm so angry with myself that I let myself from college on get as big as I am now...went from 145 lbs to almost 300. Anytime I try to go to the fridge I think of how I look and how I did look. ... that's my motivation!
-
I'm doing the 10 lbs in July. Weigh in once a week and post your results :) good luck!
-
Count it for today since it is TODAY not yesterday. Once MFP switches over I count that on that day. Plus, if you're truly wanting to drop the pounds - don't eat before you go to bed. The energy doesn't get burned. Good luck!

I AGREE!!!!

I agree, I've been with this site for a while now. And I've had my ups and downs. You can do it... Don't run just because you've gained some weight back, use it as motivation to keep going. We all gain and we all lose it happens. Just know you have support!!! It all starts here!!!! Hope it helps. Good luck.
