i have a heart rate monitor. its the only way to know really. different ability levels will burn more or less. if you don't have one or plan on gettin one....a lot of people log as aerobics (high impact) or Circuit training and yoga for the recovery days... but i find people tend to overestimated when they guess.

Thank you. by the end of the first week i was thinking i would never do it but i kept going and sure enough i got stronger and it was like magic! i could just do it one day. i have every faith in the program. if i can do it.....Anyone with enough willpower can. just have to tell yourself that you can do it! and maybe not…

i have a heart rate monitor. i got mine at about week 2. its the only way to know for sure. as a) everyone burns different and b)it depends on how hard you push. before i got the hrm i used to log as intensive circuit training or areobics intensive....but it seems way off compared to the numbers i get on the monitor.

good for you! also you need to remember that with something as hardcore as insanity you will be gaining muscle. which is awesome, i go more by tape measure then scale for this reason. you must not have much weight to loose to which will of course mean smaller losses. took at it as your optimizing and conditioning you body,…

this was my first two weeks after a lot of bad eating :-\ i always loose a lot in early weeks. just finished week 3 now and only lost1 more lb but i think i have gained a lot of muscle too. insanity is brutal!!! but i love it!. im an all or nothing kinda girl so it fits me well. well done everyone. keep it up:-) xx
