I made a fool of myself telling my Podiatrist that Yoga classes stopped my PF pain  I'm sure he thinks I'm some hippy dippy new age freak  He wanted to give me cortisone shots directly into the fascia  I said, give me a week with the google & if it's not better by then, I'll consider the injections. I…

 yes... when: Magnesium supplement always helps. Take it at night, relief to follow

I would'nt wait. I'd go to the Podiatrist especially since you and that right foot have history  Find out what's going on now, before you start on a routine of walking. Set yourself up for success

When I was first diagnosed, there were a number of different things my doctor ordered to get a baseline one. I was 45 at the time & never wore glasses. One of the things was to see an Ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) to check for Diabetic Retinopathy. Read about that is here:…

 Less than 20g per day (net) is not particularly low if you are on a Keto diet like myself & happen to be a smaller person (5' tall, 45 yr old woman, 126#) I'm also T2D. For the record, I don't avoid vegetables, but do avoid fruit. :drinker:

I'm at < 20g of carbs per day, so this happens to me sometimes too. I've found that not snacking between meals works for me. I eat 4-500 cal per meal, or more if I can manage it but that usually doesn't happen. I make sure to have at least 30g of protein in each meal & that keeps me satisfied for about 4-5 hours at a time.…

Here are a couple of links to give you an idea. At best, it's an estimate depending on a few things. Although A1c is supposed to be your 3 month average, it can be inaccurate if you have red blood cell anomalies. The best way to tell what your BG's are is to test. You can get a glucometer without a Rx at any pharmacy but…

Just wanted to add, it's probably best that you do this on YOUR terms rather than whatever circumstances happen to be when this all comes to a head. You don't want to be caught out there financially.

yep! stfu sounds like it suits this situation just fine, I'd have probably shot him the finger before the words came out though :blushing:

I have a feeling you already know what you should do....and he does too. Let this go. I say this because I remember your post from a couple of weeks ago with his thoughts of his ex and all. He doesn't want to hurt you but the truth is, you guys moved to playing house waaay too soon. Get yourself together and move on. If…

depends....how long is that zombie gonna stagger along behind me? ETA: and did he bring his friend T-Rex along?

I'll also agree with this :drinker: I'm T2D, and I happily subsist on < 20g of carbs per day. That doesn't mean I don't make mashed potatoes for my kids, and all the yummy stuff that no longer fits into my long range health plan. However, I can see how some people can 'mourn' for the days of enjoying less personal…

chicken breast pork tenderloin chops canned tuna Boring, I know, but doll 'em up any way you like  I make a tuna casserole with cauliflower instead of pasta. I make chicken breast, baked, broiled, BBQ'd, stir fried, curried, pan fried (you get the idea). Pork tenderloin, I get it from Costco & cut it up into chops to…

yeah -__- apparently there's this thing called 'free will' :ohwell: when you have kids, you'll understand with painful clarity why parents appear to do things that seem irrational to non-parents :flowerforyou:
