Nice going ! I never thought about gradually increasing calories but that sounds like a solid plan. Keep posting so we know what works best to maintain. Soon enough all of us will need the info

Fruit, diet soda or water, salad dressing. Why salad dressing? Because I can always find salads at local restaurants and turnpike plazas but since the calories are in the dressing, I want my own low cal to put on it.

I can really see a difference. Looking great....did you change hair color or just the camera shot ?

Raw carrots dipped in low cal salad dressing

You can succeed without the exercise, but the added input helps keep you motivated to stay on track. Just go for a little walk instead. At least then you are moving a bit

Salad, chicken parm, side of spaghetti. Oh yeah other than the salad it's a Boston Market frozen dinner Easy cleanup, filling, 420 calories. Beats slaving over the stove while I'm watching the Cav's sweep the series !!!!!

I cut out breakfast since it got the appetite flowing on high gear and was making me eat more. And the morning snacking was really starting to take it's toll on my progress. Since I like to go to work by 5ish waiting till lunch was just too long and I would get too hungry. So, at somewhere between 8-9 I have an apple or…

It has happened to me that over eating the wrong foods in the wrong amount triggered a gall bladder reaction. Extremely painful. Just happened last week after a major eating spree. Took the entire day of almost zero food the following day to put me back in shape. This has not happened since I started the MFP program last…

If there was a decent one on my way to work that was open that early, I would go. There is a LA Fitness close to my office, but they don't open until 5AM I go past there around 4-4:30 since I like to get to work by. 5ish. There are other places that are open 24/7 but they have no pool or spa and that's what I want ifmim…

I have the same DVD, my didn't come with the dust. I also have a few dumbbells that hang around the house ...but I won't go into them. Like others I have a great home basement set up (see pic) and minimal ambition or motivation. Had the house built so I had 9' ceiling and separate heating cooling in the basement. When I'm…

80 cals for 2 tsp is a lot when you drink 10 cups a day. That more than 1/2 a days calories . I'll stick with the powdered creamer and just a small amount to give a little flavor at 5 calories for a small amount it's a non issue for me

Welcome fellow old person. I'm 62 and if I can do this so can you. Log every time you eat and you will lose...the age won't make a difference just be sure to get proper nutrition since us old folks break easy

You're not alone. I had a bad one too yesterday. Just like you it started off great until about noon when company came over and brought all kinds of stuff. I won't beat myself up for a bad day since overall I do pretty well and my total for the week will still be in check. Problem is my system is not used to the fatty…

Not sure...but I would always default to the total calories.

If you follow the game plan you will succeed. It takes a little time to get the hang of it if you haven't logged calories before. Six months from now you will here telling us how great you did and have hit your target.

Never really happened to me. I have slowed down a bit usually due to my negligence. Also remember as your weight drops your daily intake should be adjusted to support the reduced caloric need. So as weight drops you may be actually overeating and the drop may slow down accordingly.

I'm a huge cavs fan. How can you live in Cleveland and not like the Cavs. ?

The special K with bits of chocolate is one of my fav snacks. Just plain out of the box, no milk. Solves the chocolate craving and is pretty light in the calorie department.

Its all in the cream your using. Coffee with Splenda has like zero calories Use a little powdered creamer 1 teaspoon @ 10 calories is almost like drinking water !! You,don't need to Give cut it down. I sure am not going to take stuff away that I like that makes the diet unsustainable. I do about 10 coffees a day and just…

Not really exercising, but as a part time drummer after doing a show I can see my fit bit adds about 1500 calories added to my exercise log It's funny that the Fitbit records a step every time I hit the bass drum pedal so after a show I have like 19,000 steps. I never really count these but it's fun to see.

Had lots of stuff in the closet from before I added the extra pounds. So...closet shopping worked well for me. All my bizillion of Medium shirts now fit again so it's like gaining a lot of free clothes. Glad I hung onto these knowing that I planned on dumping the weights A lot of additional items were found at great prices…

Awesome!!!

I bribe myself and I'm proud of it. Sometimes cloths, or the Fitbit or just something weight related. Last 10 lbs loss got me a new air fryer and copper cookware set. I'm proud when I hit a 10 lb milestone and what I buy usually is something that keeps me on track or pushes me to the next step. When I hit my ultimate goal…

Many people initially lose a fee added lbs from water weight. That plus 2 lbs a week for 2 months can make 20 total. Not unheard of or unhealthy.
