I am a 36 year old woman, 5'6 and 132 and I eat around 2000 calories a day and workout about an hour+ a day and have been maintaining for the past 7 months so that would be correct....although the age is different.

We spray them with olive oil and toss them in Cajun seasoning and bake the as fries. Sometimes we combine them with roasted butternut squash, onions, thyme, and light coconut milk and blend as a soup.

This came at the perfect time because I am sitting here fighting this battle right this moment. I went through rape and an abusive relationship and thought I would be fine when I lost the weight, but all it has done is making me overly fearful that something could happen again. I was just fine being that fat wall flower…

Set small goals for yourself to keep you motivated and then invest in a DVD that incorporates strength and cardio using body weight and a small set of dumb bells if you have a set. Inside Out Method is a great one that you can modify and then move up to the harder level and the pack comes with 8 different workouts to 2-20…

I did Weight Watchers 7 years ago and lost 67lbs with portion control and not really changing what I ate, but just cutting back. It was good as long as I stuck to the smaller portions....then when I hit maintenance I gained it all back plus some because I never learned proper nutrition. If you are trying to lose pounds it…

You can add me, I love food so there is no judgment coming from here. We all have to do what works for us and that is what will make you successful in the long run.

I never really thought about that because I get the "you're losing too much weight" frequently and it does come down to people's perception of what they think is a normal weight. I am right in the middle of the bmi for my weight/height so this has always irritated me. Thanks for the post.

I want in too. I got into lifting about 3 months ago and absolutely love it. Food is great too so I eat around between 1800 and 2000 most days.

What are candy corn M&M's....they sound great!

Generally about 2 weeks to get that feeling of being hungry, or knowing when you are hungry. You will just have to eat on a schedule and have faith that it will work out that your body will find it's way back to eating healthy amounts of food. I struggled with this in the beginning because I was used to huge amounts of…

We do lentils or chickpeas made into a stew.....very filling and cheap at the same time. You can always go with a rotisserie chicken and use the dark meat and wings for dinner with baked potato and green beans, the breasts can be combined with refried beans, chiles, tortillas and enchilada sauce for another meal and the…

I totally forgot about those delicious little calorie bombs.

You are doing an awesome amount of ab work!

Yesterday covered 2 days worth with 261 after that crazy abs class.

Just my opinion, but I have found the calories logged on here are a bit high for exercise so I go with a HRM to get an exact number or cross reference with another exercise calculator and estimate the two then log that total. That sounds like an accurate number at 1530 and then eating back half of your exercise calories…

It depends on how you are losing the weight and if you are working on body recomposition. I am 5'6 and have been within 3lbs of my maintenance weight for around 6 months, but I also added in a great deal of weights and ab work and although I am now 131 instead of 134, I went from a size 8/9 down to a 5/6. With vanity…

Try juicing some of them....I eat a ton of green vegetables, but hate kale so I will juice it and hide that raunchy flavor. You can also put spinach in a smoothie and not even really know it is there if you blend it enough. Good luck with this.

I think that the most helpful thing I have done along the way is ask myself the same exact question when it comes to food or activity or excuses....."Will this get me to my goal?" There are only 2 responses- Yes or No. You can pick either one of them, but in the end what will make you successful is knowing that when you…

I started by tracking everything exactly as it was...EVERYTHING I was eating to see where I could make changes. Then I cut out one "bad" thing every week for a month until I was eating healthier. The first thing I got rid of was fried food, then Cokes, then decreased the sugar/processed foods, and finally cut back…

I kind of went about this in reverse....When I got ready to up my intensity I went with an Insanity type workout and then moved on to running. In the beginning I thought that all I needed to do was run faster(6.2mph starting out) and eventually I would be able to increase my time after some weeks of that. Little did I know…
