Don't put too much emphasis on the scale! Your health is most important, and muscle is definitely for healthy than the extra fat. Stay at it! :)

Drink water!!!! And also, make sure you're eating the right kinds of calories. The fullness you get from fat and protein will stay with you longer than if you ate empty carbs. Of course of these need to be eaten in moderation. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

I just finished week 3 of the program today, it's not easy, but very doable. You should start the program, just modify it. Instead of brisk walk / jog, you can do walk / brisk walk. It's so easy to do the program at your own pace, and using it as an interval program might help you to move to the running stage more quickly.…

I highly recommend taking a look at the book Feeling Good by David Burns. It was recommended to me many years ago, and I've recommended it to many others ever since: http://www.amazon.com/Feeling-Good-Therapy-Revised-Updated/dp/0380810336/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1295305728&sr=1-1 It walks you through the process of…

I weighed in at 156 1bs today. That's a one pound loss. I'm a little disappointed by the small number, but I need to remember that it is still a loss. On a good note, I've just successfully completed W3D1 of the Couch to 5K program so my endurance is increasing :)

Do you have any protein in your breakfast? I tend to get hungry, quicker, when I don't have protein in the morning. This was suggested to me years ago, and I really do find it helps! If you do include protein in your breakfast, than I'm kinda at a loss.

I'm 4'11" also... I just started last week with MFP. Any and all of you petite ladies are welcome to "friend" me. Right now, I'm doing the Couch to 5K - I start week 3 on Monday - it's not really meant for weight loss, but it gets me off the couch. I figure any exercise is better than no exercise!

I usually put honey in mine... and I think you should probably steep it longer like the last poster suggested.

I bought some steaks from there last month (there was some absurdly good deal through the today show before Christmas). Along with the meat came a little booklet with cooking times for broiling, grilling, etc. You can probably get the same info from their web site. Anyway, I broiled the fillet mignon per their directions,…

I'd like to join as well. I hope it's not too late. I am 4'11 and currently weigh 157 lbs. (I feel adding my height puts me more in perspective). My goal weight is 120 lbs. that might change, but that's what it is at the moment :)

You're probably gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. Don't rely too much on the scale, instead consider if you're clothes are fitting differently. I bet they are :)
