Don't worry about it! Jut be sensible and have fun! Look at it this way- if you are going to a mass of weddings/birthdays/knees ups in the next couple of months then yes. You do need to have a draconian strategy. Otherwise don't sweat it! It's a one off! When you come home you have to allow for whatever will happen on the…

What loose skin? You look great! I'm looking up calisthenics.....

I'm a bit late but can i join please? Just got this weeks weight.

You don't have to get bigger and bigger. You don't have to be a 'perfect 10' either. What we all need is to have a better relationship with ourselves and our bodies. What does eating do for you (apart from keeping body and soul together!)? Are you comfort eating? Bored? Try to find your trigger and address that. I've been…

...and here's Mum! Yep. I've got all this too. My gall bladder was removed as an 'emergency' operation last December. (It took 2 months for the thing to calm down enough to let them remove it.) The surgeon 'dropped' a lot of the stones back inside me and couldn't find them all. He told me they might cause abscesses. (Oh…

It's my British sarcasm. I'm saying binge eating isn't simplistic. Neither is drug or alcohol abuse. All need empathy and professional help not self satisfied smug amateur knee jerk responses. ('Over eating? Stop over eating.' If only it were that simple.)

Your arms are not disgusting! You look amazing! :-)

Hmmn... I've read the advice here... basically the consensus of this accumulated wisdom is - 'eat less food'. Am I right? That's the sage advice is it? Wow. Well after hearing that all our troubles are over and mfp can shut up shop. Oh yes there was the not so hidden theme of 'Pull yourself together.' Great. You guys (with…

Hi lilli I've got a further 4 stone to shift and would like the company too! (Had a quick look at your profile ... seriously don't worry about your daughter... you could look like Cheryl Cole -which you do a bit-... and she'd still be embarrassed to be seen with you... or her Dad. It's a parent/child thing not your weight…

This. Well done you for recognising how to best help yourself. You have realised you cannot be expected to do this on your own and that you do need to talk to your parents and doctor about this. You don't want this to go any further along the road you are on and you can turn this around... with a little help from your Mum…

I've lost about 2.5lbs aweek-BUT I have a lot to lose and I think I was underestimating how active I am and therefore not having enough calories. It's a basic good guideline. Everyone one is different and you have to tailor it to suit your own body. So in answer to your question... by and by , in the main, roughly - yes.

Don't go hungry. Fill up on low cal stuff BEFORE you go out. Drink as you eat. Avoid the obvious pitfalls of fried foods but it is just one night so go and enjoy it.

I've gone from a 40JJ (244lbs) to a 36J (202lbs)

We are close! Female 5'6" 198lbs (was 244lbs) 55...oops. Mismatch lol! Or was it just a prolonged labour... 34yrs?

A Triumph 'Doreen' (hideous) one or two back and cup sizes too small and a very good supportive bra of your choice.:flowerforyou:

Oop! My bad. I'll rephrase my answer- Yes.
-
Yes. Just count the calories in the sugar and milk used.

it's time for you to see someone about your issues. you are feeding them on here talking to random strangers about your health issues. I have read your posts recently asking for support and advice on gaining weight whist displaying photographs of a perfectly healthy body. We cannot sort this for you. You need the help of…

Thank you guys! x Thank you for your messages of support! All wise words and there's lots of things on my bucket list!... Before I start I've just got to go and find my Getupandgo... I left it around here somewhere....

Thanks for this Heidi. It makes sense. Good advice from Deb too :-) I'm not sure I can just 'allow' a binge though Aproud! I don't know if I'd ever get back!
-
Brilliant!!! Well done you! :-D:drinker: :flowerforyou:

Me too! I've lost 42lbs but the tape measure has't shifted that much. What I don't get is why my clothes are looser and I'm rattling around in size 18 jeans (rather that overstuffing size 22) yet the tape isn't reflecting that? Any clues? Back to the OP Have you tried a different set of scales? It's got to be going from…
