Could it be that the bike worked a different muscle or your body in a different way therefore you got a bit more out of it simply because of the change? Maybe alternating is a good idea....... P.S. I like both....as well as the elliptical and the stair climber .

Fresh fruit, jerky, nuts......could you go to the store once you get there and buy a cheap styrofoam cooler? hotel probably has ice machine then you could store some cold things.......

You can log strength training under the cardio part and based on the time it will give you a calorie burn.......however from what I have gathered solely from other mfp members that is....is that it is very hard to determineactual calories burned from strength training. So if you eat back your calories you may want to find…
