Understand that life happens. You will not be perfect throughout the entirety of your journey. Do your best and be your best YOU and that's all you can do. I missed a workout last week because of drama. Then I missed another workout the next day because of timing. I just made them both up on Saturday. Now... I just…

I want to get back to where I was at age 30. The confidence that comes along with being in shape in irreplaceable.

Consider it done, ma'am :)

I do about 30-45 min a day. MWF Weights, and TThSa Cardio.

I do good until I feel an uncomfortable emotion (ie. insecurity, jealously, inadequacy). My first response is food my second thought is dealing with it and working through it. I'm trying to change the order here lately :)

wow! that's awesome ;)

Oh yeah... and remember - One day at at time and Progress rather than perfection...

I think you were meant to post this today. I'm about 30 minutes from a pizza, pepsi and chocolate fest. Anytime I feel out of control, or like I'm not expressing a feeling, I eat whatever it is I"m feeling. So... my first bit of advice would be... Assess what you're emotional about. Is it something you can talk to someone…

I think that's the best advice you just gave yourself "Start somewhere". Now, also remember that different goals give different results. Hubby and I trained for a marathon from October - March and I lost MAYBE 5 lbs. I've been doing weights/cardio for 4 weeks and have lost the same amount. So... with that said, remember…

I respect you so much! I have an autistic niece and had a cousin with Down Syndrome. I can't even imagine how much work it is. {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}

Well, obviously you can't. Unless they are clown children. We rock a mini-van. What's a restaurant? Oh... you mean McDonalds? Dollar Menu baby!!

WOW!!! You have quite the story! *clearing my throat* Ahem... Single dads need to give them permission to take care of themselves too ;)

it is super tough to give ourselves permission to take care of ourselves, but we have to...

Someone posted a similar topic yesterday (or so). This might help, too :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1262248-mamas-in-their-30-s I'm a 37 year old mom of 6. ages 2 - 21. I am a full time teacher and will have my Masters in December and will start counseling next school year :)

^5 (that's a high-5 ---- get it? ) Same quote ;)

Also... I don't know about eloquent, but these keep me in check: If you keep doing what you're doing, you're going to keep getting what you're getting. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. (But, not Shawn T's Insanity, 'cause that will give you results :) )

I like this one!!

Here is a group :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/378-christian-support-group But, for me I love Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
