  • I had this problem when I first got on here as well. I was sabotaging my diet the more and more I tried to figure out how to prepare my meals using the database. Finally I resolved to sticking with atkins shakes, lean cuisines, and weight watchers meals until I can get an accurate handle on this. It's too important for me…

  • I have never killed a bug in my life, not even an ant and I NEVER will. I'm terrified to a degree I can't even explain.
  • Dane Cook, Johnny Knoxville, Stevie O, Bam Margera, and Maynard - Tool. I like a looney.
  • Hey there! I'm so sorry for what you are going through. Unfortunately because your diet journal is locked it is hard for help. If you open it for viewing it might be easier to see if something you are eating is causing the migraines. Certain foods are definately triggers. I've delt with debilitating migraines since I was…
  • I smoked for 15 years, started when I was ten years old and was a three pack a day smoker when I quit in one day. He's how I did it. My oldest son had been sick since birth. I never smoked in the house or in the car. No one could tell me what was wrong with him, but he was deathly ill all the time. One day my sister in law…
  • You hang in there! I understand what you are going through. Mine never understood, still doesn't. And even though he is loving and kind, he's just not supportive in the way I need him to be. That's why I am on MFP, to seek out support in other ways, and I suspect that's why you are too. So bravo to you for still being…
  • I NEVER mention my attempts to lose weight on FB because I'd get bombarded with comments about how I'm skinny enough already. But people don't realize that I just gained some weight from medication I was taking from being too thin and it worked a little TOO well. So I have to find an even keel now. In fact, I don't mention…
  • Have you tried asking for a pill or that uses an entirely different form of hormone? I had this problem years ago as well. I just had to keep going through all the different types until I found one that worked. Perhaps the shot might be better for you.
  • Hey there! Fellow vegetarian always looking for more support during weightloss. :flowerforyou:
  • I'm checking some of these out right now. lol
  • I've never heard of this recipe, but I can't wait for someone to post it.
  • It's been noted that a woman's body needs more complex carbs during menstruation. Maybe that's why you're feeling easily fatigued. Perhaps if you added a little more good carbs to your diet during that time for an increase in energy production that would help. Just a thought.
  • I've been dealing with thyroid issues as well. Synthroid really gave me no relief. My weight just kept increasing and I was told my metabolism was ruined after years of medication and dieting. Finally, I tried the natural way. There is a product call Raw Thyroid by Natural Sources. I get it from my local health food store.…
  • Those were the ones I was talking about. These are also great mixed with ice cream and frozen strawberries and bananas. When I was in the hospital, that was how they would prepare them for me. They really do help.
  • At the moment I'm trying to loose a bit. However, over the last couple of years I've been up and down with my weight. At one point I needed to put on 30 pounds just to be healthy again. The best thing I did was add Ensure (I forget what they are called, but the highest calorie ones), three times a day in addition to meals…
  • I eat lean cuisine and weight watcher's meal fairly regularly. I track my sodium and these are both very well balanced. I have never gone over a day due to either of them. And they are pretty tasty. :)
  • I am so sorry that you have experienced something like this. This site was meant for people to come together to encouge each other, not tear each other down. I truly hope this doesn't cause you any setbacks in your personal journey. Be well!
  • Unless he comes to you for advice, I wouldn't give him any.
  • I am over-the-moon excited for you! I'm doing a little dance right now. Keep up the great work. It's truly, truly an inspiration to us all!
  • Have you had your thyroid tested? I ask because I have an underactive thyroid and it made it impossible to take off the pounds even when I was dieting and exercising correctly. Now that I am on corrective hormone therapy it makes it a little easier. Just a thought.
  • I learned a long time ago that if you asked the waiter in advance when you order, they will plate half the order for you and have the other half already prepared in a to-go box for you. I do it with every meal I get when I order out. That way it's not even a temptation for you, that other half doesn't even come to the…
  • I get these days, shall I say, at certain times of the month. Any chance that might be what's going on? If you're in a strange spot in your cycle and your sick, that could certainly trigger cravings. Plus carbs (good carbs - a nice bowl of whole wheat pasta maybe) calm pms, I hear it from gyn all the time. Just a thought.
  • I've been that way for as long as I can remember, and I live in Fl. However, I find it to be absolutely unbearable just after I eat - even if it's just a small amount. I have to get under the covers and put on a heating pad. I shiver and shake, my teeth chatter, it's awful. My hands and feet turn completely blue. As…

I'll send you a friend request so we can help each other along. I'll tell you what though, as much as I hate to admit it, everyone here is right. On the days when I force myself to eat…
  • Hey there! I'm on 1200 Calories as well. My food diary is open for viewing. Feel free to check it out. I'll send you a freind request as well so we can help each other out. :)
