Everyone does not have an hour a day to spend in the gym. I'll admit it's about priorities. I put my husband and three kids above having a ripped body.

If you go to the exercise tab, then it should list fitbit exercise calories. Online there is a small question mark you can click and it will tell you how many calories you have to burn before fitbit adds more. I don't have a smart phone so i don't know how the app works.

Try youtube for chair exercises, or an arm bike. Definitely a great question for you Docs. Strengthening the muscles around the joint is the best way to reduce pain at the joint.

I think Grendel is wrong. It's 1-1.5 per KILOGRAM of weight, not pound. That would be a lot of protien

I lost 20 pounds with MFP. Then baby #3 and gain it all back. I've managed to loose 10 of it again. Would love someone to motivate me.

I don't own fitbit but I've seriously considered it. The whole point is to give you an accurate count of calories burned for a day, aka you level of activity sedentary verses light active. Then you and MFP are no longer just making guesses but you have an accurate number.

Eating fat does not make you fat. Eating excessive calories makes you fat. Some vitamins are "fat soluble" which means you can only get them by eating fats. Fats also help you feel full longer. So yes some full fat items are better than their low fat counter parts.

while it is true you don't burn as many calories while you lift weights. weight lifting increases your metabolism and you burn more calories through out the day.

Good question. I eat a fiberplus everyday to try to increase my fiber. Fiber by definition is anything you can't digest. But beyond that I'm as cluess as you.

The ITband is a hip abducter. So any exercise where you swing your leg away from your body will strenghten it. I would think though that stretching it would help a bursitis more than strenghtening it. To stretch move your leg in the opposite direction.

I disagree with Usajewels. Your activity level should be set at what you do everyday such as your job and simple chores around the house. I agree with previous post. Noone can fluxuate that much so quickly. Weigh yourself the first thing in the morning wearing the same clothes or nothing, on the same scale on a hard floor. I am not but many people do. Some people add 500 calories of "exercise" to counter balance the calories you burn nursing. Good luck!

Yes. MFP has already calculate how many calories a day you should eat. By exercising you increase the number of calories you body burns in a day and thus you need to eat them back to reach your minimal calorie amount a day. Try searching for this topic and you find lots of great reasons this is true.

Are really hungry or just craving food. IF the first try more protein and healthy fats to make you feel full longer. If the second try foods that are calorie less dense such as fresh veggies. Sometimes it more about you mind thinking you have chewed enough and not actually how much is in you stomach. Good luck!

I agree with asugar. You sounds close to an eating disorder. I would suggest focusing on getting healthier and not so much on weight loss. It's about life style changes not temporary changes. Maybe even try to stop loosing weight for a week and just maintain to prove to yourself you won't immediate gain it all back.
