Yup for all above. When you drink alcohol and eat, your body will consume those empty calories first (and they are high up there). Once your body had enough empty calories, it don't need those from your food, so it'll store as fat.

When you look at your diary, what food got high number of cholesterol? Try to substitute with fat free or something in the line. No whole milk or products like that. Eat only egg white, no yoke. Read labels for the food you buy. Do you exercises? It helps a LOT

Fruit, drinks (like juice, milk, protein shake). Many fruits can have quite a bit of calories due the sweetness. Drinks won't make you feel too stuffed, but has vitamin & calories. Just make sure pick the healthy drink though, not empty ones like soda, alcohol drinks.

I've been just suck it up without anything. Take rest days (one or two, or even three) whatever my body need to easy up the soreness. Once passed that, I feel more fit and stronger, and having hard time to get sore like that any more. It's all good!

My gym trainer/nutritionist was just talking about this topic today in the seminar. She said everyone is react differently to different kind of food. Try to take out (or decrease big) one type of food (like carb, or dairy), and see how your body react to that.

Aren't they both pretty cheap? I would get both. It's good to alter different workout, so your body don't know what's coming, and better that way. I got bore sticking on just one. :-)

Don't go. It's not that expensive for those pancakes. Last time we went to IHOP, really found out how bad (and not good taste at all) over there, and we probably won't ever go there unless we have no choice. I rather over calories on good tasty food, period.

Everyone's heart work differently, even with 2 people same weight / height / sex, etc. One person's heart might need to pump more hard to get blood flow, the other one may not.
