I have a co-worker that lost almost 100 lbs through surgery and she looks fantastic. I started losing weight and she was saying "Oh just have a little bit. It won't hurt." and stuff like that. Finally, I told her to stop trying to sabotage me. I want to lose weight and it isn't easy as she should understand. Hasn't done it…

I joined the gym 4 weeks ago and that first week was pure torture for me. I felt out of place and uncomfortable and thought I would throw up every day but I didn't and now just 4 short weeks later, I do my thing and it doesn't bother me. If they are watching me, oh well. I'm there for me, not for them. I am 5'4" and 205…

Ha, ha! I love this! He also doesn't weigh or measure himself at all because he doesn't really care. I so wish I could be like that! Thank you everyone for your feedback. I figure it's too early to panic but it's so hard not to. I think I'm going to try to prep ahead some salads with chicken breast next week so I can avoid…

Thanks for replying. I guess I'm just a slight bit impatient. It probably is a good idea for me to cut back on sodium regardless even though it isn't really affecting my health right now.

I have the towel goal too! OMG to be able to use a regular sized towel instead of a bath sheet! lol Congrats on your progress! You look fantastic!

That dessert day must have seriously thrown her off the wagon.

I'm 5'4" and weigh 206 lbs. I just met with a personal trainer and here is what he set me up with: Kettlebell Swings: 3 sets of 20 at 15 lbs Wall Ball: 3 sets of 12 (you throw up a medicine ball and squat when catching it) Alternate Crunch: 2 sets of 20 Bosu Crunch: 2 sets of 20 Step Ups: 2 sets of 20 Planks: 2 sets for 20…

I lost 20lbs before I fell off the wagon last year and never changed sizes at all. Thus the falling off the wagon. :(

I have taken Phentermine in the past. My doctor was responsible and only allowed me to take it for 3 months. I lost a substantial amount of weight in that short time. The problem is that after the 3 months I quickly started to gain it back. I found a doctor that was not as responsible and as long as I checked in every 2…

Wow! You're my hero! :)

I had lost 50lbs prior to my pregnancy. My little one is 2 1/2 now and I can't lose the 60lbs I gained during my pregnancy. I used Jenny Craig last time and had a personal trainer. Definitely can't go that route this time. I lost 20 lbs last summer but gained it all back during the winter. I'm trying again. Tracking…

My 2 year old pointed to my top roll of fat and said "What are those boobies mommy?" Out of the mouths of babes. (Don't ask where my 2 year old came up with boobies but she points hers out and asks about them sometimes.)

I'm 18mths post partum now but I gained weight after stopping nursing at 4 months. In total, I ended up gaining 20 lbs which put me back to where I was when I was pregnant. It took me a while to get motivated to lose it but it's coming off slowly but surely now. Good luck to you!

I took phentermine for years and yes I said years. It did give me more energy and I took off a bunch of weight but I gained all of that back and more because I relied on the appetite suppression and the burst of energy for weight loss instead of adopting a healthy lifestyle. I believe if you took them in addition to the…

I'm extremely impressed! Way to go!

I'm a working mommy with a toddler. She is 16 months old. I'm out of the house from 8:30am-6:30pm. I get an hour lunch so that's when I get my "exercise" in which is usually a brisk walk. My daughter goes to sleep between 9pm and 10pm so the evening is always a rush to get dinner and baths and then bed. The exhaustion is…

I try to remember that. I am so desperate to get to a normal weight but try to remember that it takes time. It took time to gain it, it'll take time to lose it. There was a time when I wouldn't have planned and would have gobbled down the steak, with chilli, mashed potatoes and maybe even headed for dessert. Baby steps.

LOL, I did the calculations and came out with the same thing. I was sure to take double the walk that I normally do and I just had a salad with greens and a couple of ounces of chicken for lunch so I'd be ready to consume the extra calories. All went well. I stuck to my plan and I feel good. Today I brought a quarter of my…

Thanks, I've only been on the program for 2 weeks and I'm nervous about not having control over what goes into my food yet. I want progress. I did Jenny Craig about 6 years ago and lost 50 lbs on it after a year but gained it all back during my pregnancy. I wish there was an immediate result button but I know it is work.…
