some days i do, some days i don't, when i hit a plateau i have noticed that upping my exercise and then eating most of those calories back kicks me back into it, i definitely try to keep my net at 1200, sometimes that can be hard though

Exactly what I was thinking, the main cause of Plantar Fascitis is running on cement, it's very common. Deep tissue calf & foot massage works great along with stretching (I'm a Massage Therapist & see this all the time). A good stretch is to rest your heal on the ground and point your toes upward and rest them on a step.…

i've heard that too, and while it can seem hard, it really couldn't hurt right?

CONGRATS!

depends on what you have your activity level set at, i work at burger king and am on my feet for 8-9.5 hrs & have mine set at lightly acitve
-
Agreed!
-
I'm 5'2 166, lightly active & my calorie intake is at 1470, so maybe you'd be good at 1500ish. :) Hope that helps a bit!
-
Haha! That's hilarious!!
-
Agreed!
-
Congrats! Keep it up!

I usually gain about 2lbs or stay the same for 2 wks (one wk before) but usually seen a drastic 3lb or so drop after.
-
Never took note, 5 wks is a long time to remember, but I don't think its very accurate, maybe the average b/c i know mine sometimes changes a lot from day to day
-
I'm the same! It can be so frustrating! Last year I hit a 4-5 week rut & then lost 8lbs in two weeks, not a thing changed in my diet/exercise!

Cheeses, yogurts, almonds, lean meats, whole grains & of course veggies :) Everything that will give you your vitamins & nutrients w/o making you sick from overages in sugars and saturated fats. Anything fresh and pretty should be a good choice. Good luck on your journey back to being healthy!

You look great!
-
Congrats girl you look great!

Like ppl have said it gives you a good idea of how you're doing & it will change your calories depending on how much you weigh at the time, but it can also be a disappointment when done all the time, I'd say only weigh in once a week or every other.

Hey! I've already lost about 52 but my ultimate goal is 70(for now, possibly upping to 75-80) We can definitely support each other! Friend request sent!

Katy Perry, Rhianna & pitbull make me feel like i HAVE to get moving
-
grapes, baby carrots, almonds, you'll still get the feeling that you're munching on something!
-
That's awesome & such an inspiration! It definitely seems hard to find time to work out after a long tiring day. Congrats on your success so far and good luck on your journey!

Wings & extra blue cheese, and basically friend chicken in general, dipped in some high fat, high cal sauce! Chocolate cake too!
-
i hear i'm short too and it's so frustrating, i have only 2 pairs of sweat pants that aren't too long and both are from kohls. leggins work too :) hope this helped a bit!

this place is great! Don't think i would be as successful if it weren't for MFP. Welcome and good luck!

Greek yogurt is awesome and the sugar is bad but it is very high in protein so that's good! Reduced fat peanut butter is awesome
-
I'm with ya! I've hit a plateau as well and was thinking the same thing about sugar & carbs. And since it's getting nicer i've been eating more fruit and that's when i began to basically stop losing! It's so crazy. I'm very interested to see what people have to suggest for this.

You look GREAT! Congrats & keep it up!

Awesome! You go!!

Uhh that's definitely the worst, packing your own food is definitely best, but i know what you mean, it is hard when money is tight, pb&j isn't very expensive and with the right ingredients (pepperigde farms light style whole wheat, skippy reduced fat & a sugar free jam) can be very healthy & filling. 100 cal packs are a…
