  • I'll be honest with you, I don't trust the boots scales in the UK at all and would not use them. I think the best thing to do is use the same scales at all times and use it in the same place, that way you will get an accurate reading of weight loss.
  • This is a very accurate statement, well said. You sort of "restart" your body's functions.. it kind of gets used to your diet/lifestyle then when you binge it panics and goes into overdrive.. then you go back and it doesn't know what to do.. it adapts, like us. Basically, after two solid weeks of dieting once a week cheat…
  • Depends how early in the morning, how long you have been awake for etc... Typically coffee and a banana would be fine for early morning then have protein shake whilst you work out or before if there is a larger time frame from waking up to working out.
  • Water, I drink about 4 litres a day it helps stave of cravings... however you will get used to eating at any calorie defecit once you start, I don't even notice hunger anymore and sometimes I only eat 1000kcal..

  • Sugar is sugar but sugar from fruit is the not so bad sugars. Eat as my any banana's as you want up to 10 banana's I would say (Reason; A large banana provides 487 mg, x10 goes over your reccomended allowance of Pottasium (4700mg))
  • Never underplay the success of losing weight no matter how small, also you've changed your eating habits also, thats absolutely amazing! well done.
  • Have your treat and don't think twice about it, there is no point in suffering. I would just quick add for the calories and add in what you think is the correct amount +100kcal on top to make sure. I had about 4000kcal one day as a treat day and still lost weight that week, it can also shock the body and reset it. Someone…
  • If you are cycling a lot, have a loaf of Soreen. Its the perfect source of energy for long distance cycling and it will boost your calories. Don't know if it will fit in your "clean" column. also everyone else has pretty much nailed it to hit calories, peanut butter, nuts and avocado's are high in calories and super yummy…
  • Feel free to add me! I don't ever see the point in people with hidden diaries..
  • I dont think people quiz you, I think knowledge to answer questions requires asking questions... Anyway Beans, Lentils, Legumes, Nuts (these are great for healthy fats too!), Meat replacements (quorn etc). I think if you are really struggling to hit your protein goals, a protein supplement would have to be the one for you.…
  • Like most people say, its calories in v calories out that count. So as long as you are within your calories you will be fine, I would not stress so much about macro's just yet. When you start reaching your goals, or if your hitting the gym on a regular then macro's come into affect for changes in your body due to x amount…

  • I see that as a good thing, means you are losing the last of your weight at a healthy pace and it won't come back on as quickly/rapidly if you start to lax. Keep going, you got this last 5kg!!! If you really want to lose the last of your 5kg quicker and have correctly been logging your calories per week, lower your…
  • All pre work outs are the same, they just won't tell you that. So if you must take one, take one you like the taste of at a price you can easily afford, alternatively you could have a coffee, same job, tastier. If you stick to your diet/healthy eating plan you should have an abundance of energy. Also what is the need for a…
  • Feel free to add me :) We are all in this together, I've started at 284lbs and managed to shave shy of 20lbs thus far, so lets do this!

  • Read the packaging on what you are eating, Keto diet is pretty simple to follow, stay below 10g carb per meal, never exceed 50g a day (imo don't go near the 50g). Unfortunately with this app unless you upgrade to premium you can't always control the correct amount of carbs. You could use your notes on your diary to count…

  • This thread is me in a nutshell! I do plan on making this my last rodeo, started well with 12lbs first week loss, my plan is over a year and to eventually drop to 1-2lbs a week until I reach my goal so in future it is more sustainable and I won't put it all back on again. Let's get it everyone!
  • I haven't set any goals for myself this time around, I made a year long plan to get to the weight I feel I should always be to make it sustainable for the future, love everyones mini goals tho, so inspiring!
