No one noticed a thing or said a single word to me until I had lost 40lbs....and even then, to date only 3 poeple have said anything at all. You may be surprised how little people notice if you don't tell them!

Ugh - totally! Can't bear husband or kids to 'catch' me - it's why I prefer things that don't seem to be exercise - swimming, trampoline, walking.....I think with me it's some weird thing about if i admit I NEED to exercise, I must be admitting I am in terrible shape? I don't know it's really weird!

Yep - I had to sit at the table staring at my cold food there for hours because it wasn't finished yet. I was a stubborn child! This has been hard for me too - couldn't bear to throw anything away. Husband bought me back a pastry the other day - not even tempted and so not worth the calories, but in the past I would have…

Yes - on average. Our bodies are amazing and complicated things. Some weeks I'll lose 4lbs and others nothing, and yet I've not 'cheated' or done anything different. But it all averages out to basically what MFP predicts....until you get close (ie maybe within 20 lbs?) to your goal from what I hear (I'm nowhere near having…

Oh Lord, how to keep track at get-togethers where you have NO control over what is put out and it all looks so good! I will be watching for ideas to but all I can say is whatever you put on your plate, eat half and 'save' the rest (but then toss it out when you get home!) Do NOT go back for seconds!! Have plenty of salad…

Sometimes from boredom or to be sociable food issues come up at work - you just have to be prepared, and have stuff on hand you can feel good about snacking on. Carrots are good - something about the crunching gets some frustration out :)

That is very hard to deal with - sorry you are facing this! First - it is pretty impossible he was already neutered at 6 weeks of age. Even extra early juvenile neuters are usually done when they weigh 2lbs which is rarely before they are about 9 weeks old. I don't think that has anything to do with what he is doing now…

I eat that stuff too - every Saturday night is our pizza night! I just keep the portions under control, drink plenty of water, and try not to worry too much about the extra pound that is always there the next day due to the sodium water weight. it is gone again by Tuesday. This is one reason why I still weigh every day -…
