The best things about being single.... Everything! I can't think of one good reason to be married or even in a long term relationship. In my experience relationships (though they start out great), end up with anger, possessiveness, restrictions, and abuse.

I have to agree. I have men friends, I date. What I don't have and will never have again is someone who thinks that a piece of paper gives them the right to control who I see, what I do, what I wear, where I work, how I spend my money, ect ect ect.......

Warped? Why because you don't agree? This has been my experience, it is a reality.

I don't understand the point in getting married, it just gives another person control over your life and someone you have to answer to.

Not for myself, I've never been interested in getting one. I do like some on some people, not so much on others {shrug} to each their own.

I LOVE going to the gym, doing yoga and running. I have to do one of those things every day or I get really restless and cranky.

I personally don't think there is a "right" person.

I don't know but if you live with someone and share living areas, then he has just as much right to the space as you do. the only private area in this type of arrangement are the bedrooms. So is seems you just need to get over it, and learn to share your friends. I don't understand what the problem is especially if he gets…

Hey I want to be a Trophy Wife, just without the husband is that possible? PS.... this thread is really silly, and the OP really just needs to concentrate on herself, in time and as her fitness level increases, others at the gym will not be so intimidating to her.

JMO of course, but it sounds to me like she is using the baby as an excuse. Being a SAHM means the home and all the little ones in it are your JOB!. What would happen if you just didn't do the other things? Would she eventually do them or would the house fall down around your ears? Who does the yard work and the repairs…

Since when is 33 considered young? When you're a 60 yo man hitting on your daughters friends!

I've never paid, even when I did the asking.

No I wouldn't hate them, but the hurt would be difficult to deal with. I don't think I would go out of my way for them any longer. I would just concentrate on my own family, and let their "favorite" child deal with them (especially as they got older). Ha, it may be a blessing in disguise (sarcasm).
