You need to do some soul searching, looking in the mirror etc and decide how much you want it, whilst people may sometimes be able to provide boost you must be motivated yourself otherwise it will not happen.
-
Motivation comes from desire, not until you really truly want something can you achieve it. DO YOU REALLY WANT IT? If so, JUST DO IT! If you don't do it, things won't change and you may regret it. Of course you may not regret it, only you can answer these questions. -Blake

I knew a thread regarding this topic would have so many self righteous posts. I don't know what it is about vegetarians and self righteous preaching but I thank you Cyster for being different. These type of comments/attitudes give vegetarians a bad rep.

What a great, great, rational post. I applaud you! -Blake

I would urge you to do so, source your meat/fish from a good source like a local butcher that deals with local free range animals and you know they are humane in the end part of it. I would normally write an essay but I think I will refrain and keep it brief. Try do the switch fairly slowly but consistently. Good luck…

Congrats, he may not see as much difference as you do but no one knows your body like you do and no one cares as much as you do. This is not a bad thing, he probably liked how you looked before your success and doesn't attach as much significance to it as you. If he was on the other side of the spectrum it would be worse…

Good stuff, good luck! I am on every day many times, each day logging everything and burning 1000+calories everyday. I don't have as much to lose but my goals won't end when I do reach the end of my weight loss.
-
Good luck, you have made a good choice, maybe even change your life and sure your husband will be happy with the results too! -Blake

Consume whey protein for post workout.

My only real comment is that the calories burnt per hour of slow ruming seems to be a very low figure from what I have seen anywhere else.

Virgin active gyms do, not sure if there are in America though but worth a check as they are quality gyms.

This lady has a point but only to an extent. Those who are very active or weight training probably will have to seek out more protein in their diet, I know if I don't then I ache and my body takes longer to recover. She also calls bs on amino acids now again, that is true for most people but for those that are active and…

I found this, it takes into account your personal details and your lifestyle, all you have to do is to make sure you enter that stuff correctly. Cant verify myself of how accurate it is but it as the very least consistent and logical. It will be about the best you will get I think as even midwifes differ on opinion. The…

Well first no one can *kitten* if this is okay as we don't know what your height, weight or anything is pregnant or not! A good rule to go by is listen to you body and don't run your pregnancy by calories.

Not looked through the thread so sorry if already said or irrelevant however.. 30 mins or more is recommended. A steady pace with a high incline is very good for calories and fat burning, an example would be 11% incline and 5kph speed. HIIT ( High intensity interval training) has now been proven to be more effective for…

For abs workouts, please search for abs workout or abs class on YouTube. You will find plenty of free effective methods and workouts on there and will be able to incorporate your own style/workout if you wished.

That will reduce fat but not half as much as it will destroy muscle. I would avoid a calorie deficit when doing weight training, the only way it should be done is if you eat over 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight and amino acid supplements are included in the diet as this will minimize muscle loss with the calorie…

Ive been smoking for 8 years now I think or close enough which at 24 is a third of my life already. I haven't quit and until recently I haven't even wanted to on any level. It is the desire for elite fitness and to be around in the best condition possible for as long as possible for my family that are my reasons.…

Barely ever touch the stuff. Maybe 3-5 weeks a year I will have any at all and even then its likely to be 1 or 2 beers.

Don't do it! Keep yourself strong, earn your treats through working out but remain on track. Don't ruin the rewards of your efforts. -Blake
