Yes motivation plays a part in getting going and some times to keep going. That motivation can come from the outside but deep down you will have to push yourself. The one thing I am working on is to stay consistent. Once you have done something (eating right, exercising, logging meals etc) for a while if you stop it will…

My goal is a gallon a day. But I typically get in about 10 glasses. I feel better when I drink more water. In my mind the weight is better when I drink more water vs the times when I am not drinking the recommended 8 glasses.

I think it depends on your body type and how you carry your weight. On my current journey I started at 262. I am now 251 and I can tell the difference. But you start to notice before others can see it. Take your measurements, that will give you some indication of changes. Some times you will not see a change outwardly but…

I've had a number of reasons why and for some reason they didn't keep me moving towards my ultimate goal. This time I have a few things have occurred at the same time and I have looked deep inside and asked "Do you really want to be this size in a year?" But I realized that I have asked myself that questions many times…

Is this your first week of changing your eating habits? You tend to lose more during the first couple of weeks and then it settle down to the 2 pounds a week. At least that has been my experience that last 1,000 times I started to work on losing weight. I also have the fitbit scale. It is pretty accurate. Good Luck!

My motivation? I no longer want to be consider Fit and Fat. And to have OBESE removed from my medical chart without having weight loss surgery. Which is what my doctor suggested. I refuse to have the surgery because I do not have other health issues (no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no bad knees or back) and there are…

No diabetes, no high blood pressure, my cholesterol is in the normal range. Resting heart rate is in the 70's. My doctor whom…
