I workout 90 minutes 6-7 times a week. I walk or bike to the gym which is a 10 minute walk each way. At the gym I do 30 minutes cardio and 1 hour of strength training. After awhile it's like second nature. I don't think you can ever workout to much.

A trainer told me a few years ago that my protein intake should be equal to my weight which at the time was 180g spread out in 5 meals a day. My goal was to loss some weight but build lean muscle at the same time. I ended losing 12 pounds in 2 months with that diet plan.

You shouldn't be hitting the 1400 so early in the day. 350 breakfast, 350 lunch, 500 dinner, 200 for snack or however you want to do it. Try spreading it out and drinking diet drinks or water. Good Luck.

5-6 pounds a week is unhealthy. I suggest you eat more.

Eating healthy is not being restrictive. And yes it's okay to demonize a rack of ribs or a double quarter pounder when you have weight issues. You can't recover unless you remove the source of your unhealthy life style.

Throw away or donate everything in your house that isn't healthy (including drinks). Go to the grocer and buy fruits, veggies, fat free dairy (cottage cheese, yogurt, milk,ice cream,) and lean meats (chicken, fish, shrimp, thin cut boneless pork). If you're eating lean protein and exercising I wouldn't worry about hitting your goal if you're not hungry. Once you get to your maintenance weight you def want to hit your calorie goal so you can build lean muscle. Just stick with good protein and veggies and you should lose and be good. I stopped going to the gym for 2 weeks after losing 4 pounds and (surprisingly) still weighed the same when I returned. Stop worrying about the small stuff. Just cut out some calories today and get some exercise to make yourself feel better. You can't gain weight from 14 oreos that you prob pooped out by now.

When you first start you might gain for a week or 2 as the fat turns into muscle. JUst stick with your plan and you will start losing by week 3.

Eat something healthy before you go to an event like that or even bring your own dish and get stuffed on that and pick at the rest.

If you want to get used to eating healthy and losing weight you shouldn't worry if you hit your calorie goal.Worry about going over. Did you ever see a skinny person go " Oh, I better eat another Big Mac to hit my calorie goal."

Sounds more like early stage of schizophrenia. I'm not a psychologist, but I heard most people start to develop it in their early twenties. I'd go talk to a doctor if I were you.

I have to agree. Once you get to your maintenance level you should eat 3-5 small high protein meals.

Depends how much beer you drink. You'd have to eat like 20lbs of broccolli to equal 12 beers. Plus the beer has lots of protein and carbs unlike broc.

I thought you're supposed to lose weight on those drugs. Go get some anxiety medication it may help.

Join a gym with a sauna. Naked guys like to talk a lot and makes convo easier.

Congrats on losing the weight. How were you 205lbs and wearing a size 38? I'm 5'8 and at at my fattest was 202lbs and still fitting in 34s although tight as hell.
